We engaged this firm to fit composite panels to the façade and soffit areas of our flat roof extension. The ordering process was effortless and the fitting was prompt and very tidy. Kevin and Peter were VERY accommodating and their attention to detail was excellent. We had a leak from our roof in the recent storms, found this firm in the trusted trader website, gave them a call late afternoon and there guy arrived first thing the following morning at the pledged time.

Did an internal and external investigation, told us the problem, and that the gaffer would call with an estimate.

Gaffer called shortly after and estimate was agreed, the guys sourced the materials and came back later the same day to do the work, then arrived a few days later.

It was a fairly modest job, but no deposits, no money for supplies, and invoices after completion.

I don’t know anything about roofing, so they could have charged me double, triple, quadruple and I wouldn’t have known any better, the price was to my mind very very reasonable.

Their guy replaced the damaged tiles, reassured us the roof was in good general shape, no attempts at upselling or adding in extra bits, just in, do the job, back out, no hassle at all, so would happily recommend Whelan & Gordon based on my experience.

Called quickly to arrange a time to come and review work required. Estimate arrived within 2 days. Work started the following week and was completed within 2 days. Bill sent on completion. Friendly cheerfull workmen who left the sight clean and tidy. We were nervous of having this work done as we had been partially scamed by the previous company but Tom took the time to explain what they would need to do to put the roof to rights to ensure it was wind and water tight.
