We first used this family business a few months ago to fix our overflow tank.
We were very pleased with their services so decided tu use them again when our bath tap needed replacing.Also got them to replace our push button flush system in our toilet which had broken.

Boiler service and frozen overflow pipe due to recent severe weather. Visit was arranged to suit me and Engineer was efficient , and friendly. Good service for the money.

A central heating repair. They realised that, as we had no heating and no hot water and the temperatures were sub-zero, and as we had been let down by the company with which we had a maintenance contract, we were in a parlous state. They came out within an hour of getting our call and carried out the required repair very speedily and efficiently. I am cancelling my contract with that other company and setting up an annual maintenance contract with G Woods.

Tony carried out a service on our boiler, which we've had for nearly 20 years. Some parts needed replaced and he was able to source the replacement parts and fit them. He was a very polite and personable young man who was thoroughly professional and efficient, and we are very pleased with the quality of his work. We've had other companies service our boiler over the years, but now that we've seen Tony at work we'll be sticking with G Woods in future.

Very happy with G Woods Plumbing, they repaired and reinstated a water tank for my mum after another plumber had left job half started and didn’t come back. Great service both from the office staff and from the plumbers who came out to assess and then complete the work for us. Had a new boiler fitted; it was a complicated system with limited availability of boilers but these guys were brilliant. Found a solution to the availability issue, did a great job with the install, made it all straight forward, and took the time to talk everything through with me. Very professional, reasonable and would highly recommend.

Had a problem with en-suite bathroom sink. Tony came out next day and fixed problem. Have used this company on many occasions over the years and both Michael and Tony have always arrived on time been very polite and respectful and left the area they worked on spotless. Our Boiler was not working and we feared The worst. We called And it was a professional service from the beginning until the end. Tony was at the property within a couple of hours and managed to have the system up and running in no time.

We needed Another part so a second visit was booked in and Tony returned with the part and fitted it and answered all questions regarding the system we had As we are not long in the property.

Would highly recommend this company. I phoned and they were able to send someone out quickly to refit 2 radiators that had been taken off while our house was being decorated. Cami also checked the boiler before leaving to ensure everything was working correctly.

We had a leak in our hot water tank that sent water through our living room ceiling. Woods were the fifth plumbing business we tried to contact. Three never replied and the fourth told us they were too busy to help. It was such a relief when a real person answered the phone at Woods and Sharon was able to to send someone out within an hour. The very helpful lad was able to assess the problem and complete a temporary fix that allowed us access to the cold system without the leak from the tank. The very next morning a second plumber was at our door to change the hot water tank, after we had received a very reasonable price quote for the work. I can't speak highly enough about Woods' service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Have used Woods for over 20 years and have always been given first class service. My recent problem related to toilet system and part s were obtained and replaced in 24 hours.

My boiler broke down and left me with no heating or hot water. I contacted G Woods to see if they could come and have a look. From the person who took my call and arranged a very prompt appointment to the engineer who came out it was the most professional service. Tony fitted a kitchen mixer tap to replace leaking one.He also replaced some plpe work to increase the flow of hot water.He explained that my old tap was high pressure and the replacement was low pressure.great job I am delighted.

My boiler started leaking really badly yesterday. I called G.Woods late afternoon and they sent someone straight round and I had a quote within the hour and confirmation that they would be here at 9am today to fit a new boiler. They managed to source one quickly despite a general shortage of boilers.
The installer was really friendly and professional and arrived early to start the job while other guys in his team dropped in to drop off the new boiler and wire up the electrics. All seemed very slick. The installer tidied as he went and was keen to make sure I was happy with everything before he left. Very pleased and also thankful to have had the work undertaken so quickly as I have young kids in the house. I would happily recommend them and would definitely use them again (although I hope it’s not for a while, ha ha)

I have used this company several times in the past. I get my boiler serviced every year and have had other small jobs done and am going to get a new shower fitted. I would be more than happy to recommend this company. They always come on time, staff are always pleasant and very efficient. Covid regulations are always adhered to so I am always happy to have an employee in my home.

Kitchen mixer tap became loose and then leaked which put the sink out of use. I didn't think I could get a plumbing engineer over the festive season and if I did thought I might get billed an extortionate amount for a call out, but Woods came to the rescue and didn't charge me a fortune for the call out. Tap fixed. Very pleased with the professional response, workmanship and the cost of repair. First rate service. Would definitely use Woods again.

Worcester Boiler service.
Have used G Woods for installation of boiler in previous house many years ago and had them service it annually. Moved a year ago and had them instal a new boiler which has just been serviced. Never had a problem. Service done when required - quickly and efficiently.

Have used many times before. Arrived on both occasions when they said they would. One visit to investigate and one visit to fix. My domestic hot water was running cold from time to time. A full boiler service, service pack, and valve, and now reliably hot. Also better pressured water.

I cannot thank G Woods enough for their service and hard work. A bathroom renovation that uncovered a lot of under lying problems but G Woods were able to handle and fix everything that arose. The communication of the workers was particularly wonderful as I was always felt informed in every decision that had to be made.
Choosing my new bathroom was also a joy due to the excellent customer service and range on offer. I recommend G Woods above all for your bathroom needs and more.

my central heating boiler and multi point water heater were serviced and both had to have work done to them post service.
The work carried out was done very competently by the heating engineer. I wanted a Hive thermostat controller and found the engineer again did the installation very quickly and efficiently and spent time with me to explain the workings of my new heating thermostat.
I have used Woods for 15 years plus and found them to be very quick to respond in cases of emergency as well as the day to day maintenance of my appliances when things go wrong.

Tony Serviced & Repaired our boiler. Found the fault after spending a fair amount of time locating it. He was very pleasant and informative, explaining what he had looked at/ruled out and what he believed was the problem giving us options of how to resolve it. Two new radiator thermostats were fitted. Excellent service as an engineer was with us on the very day we enquired. After inspecting, we had a phone call within about 20 minutes and he was back the next day to fit the thermostats. I would have no hesitation in recommending G. Woods for their splendid work and at a very acceptable cost.

Worse workman ever used. Bathroom fitted without issue then we had over a year of problems.
From the start the sink leaked - took eight call outs to fix that.
Shower had to be re-sealed....TWICE. Also had to re-seal around the shower exposed thermostat as there was a hole in the join to tiles.
Toilet been fixed twice now, both time the flush button.
Problems when the drainage in the shower - had to replace.
Water leaking in to our kitchen through one of the light fittings. Happened three times before they had to pull up part of bathroom floor and cut holes in the kitchen ceiling. Not once did they call to advise when each part would be fixed. We had to chase and chase. Patched kitchen ceiling and took 2 months to return and plaster, followed by another couple of weeks before painted it. They hadn't even been planning on painting it, we had to insist.
Not once have we had an apology from Gerry Woods. They are not cheap and we expected that to reflect in the work that was carried out. Avoid at all costs.

The most recent work done by G Woods was for the renovation of an old bathroom. Prior to that, they did work in our kitchen, replacing sink and worktops, putting in a new boiler and radiators.

There were inevitable delays in getting materials, but the workmen were excellent, not only in plying their trade but in customer relationships. They were considerate, hard-working and good timekeepers. The quality of work was outstanding. I would happily have them do any other work done, and have recommended them to others.

Repair to main stopcock which was in closed position but not isolating water. Plumber arrived as agreed and carried out work with little disruption. Left work area clean.
