We have used Forres Tree Services to give our hedge its annual hair cut for several years now and they have always done a great job. I would certainly recommend them.

I've used them several times, always been excellent. The work this time was the removal of a big leylandii hedge, and the thinning out of an overgrown bed. All work was carried out quickly and cleanly. Always a pleasure to work with Forres Tree Services.

Have used Forres Tree Services three times to cut trees. Reliable and always do a good job. All waste shredded and cleared up afterwards. Bit more expensive than they used to be but who isn't? Will certainly use again.

Trimming of roadside hedge

Work was done effeiciently and also with regard to the hedge being on a bend of a busy road. So adequate warnings in place for other road users.
One of the workers was a young lad and we could see he was being supervised , and 'trained' to look carefully for his next cut. I would recommend the firm to everyone and will certainly use them again.

Alex and the team did an excellent job of felling our tree and cutting it up for firewood. There was good communication throughout the process and were very easy to have around. They were very knowledgeable about all aspects of tree maintenance and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for tree services.

We have some very high alders that have been reduced by a third, a hawthorn tree removed as outgrown its space, a bay tree had grown huge, despite facing north so it is now about a third of original size, as we wished, crown reduced in another large tree, a limb removed from a tall birch tree and some dead wood removed from some cedars. Quite a lot really. We are very pleased with the result and everything left very tidy.

Having used FTS in the past, I contacted them again to help me out for a late winter cut back. The team arrived on time, on the date we were booked in, checked with the scope of work prior to commencing and carried out all of the work to my specifications with more check in's during the visit. Even asked for a walk round at the end if I'd like, but I didn't feel I needed to. Thank you!

Forres Tree Services came and pruned a fruit tree. They did a professional job, shredded the cut branches promptly and took away all of the cuttings. Very happy with the work that they have done. Will definitely use them again.

Reduced a tree in height which was causing a concern in high winds, also reshaped a tree which another company had made a right mess off. It now looks balanced and natural. A huge improvement.

Work was completed quickly, all garden waste removed and area left in good order

Alex's team removed some large Rhododendrons from a wooded residential property. They did this mostly using chainsaws and a winch as our aim was to remove as much of the roots as possible without damaging the surrounding trees. They then chipped the brash and put it back onsite to cover the bare soil. They also planted a few saplings for us to fill in some of the larger gaps.

They were professional and courteous. They are a skilled team. We were nervous that the area would look very disturbed after the works but actually it looked very natural and tidy.

They did a great job and I would recommend them

Alex attended a couple of months ago and surveyed the work required to be done, which was cut back trees etc from phone cables in my garden. he sent a quote which I thought was very reasonable and arranged a date to attend in July. The guys arrived on a really hot Friday and did all the cutting back in a couple of hours. All the cuttings were removed and the garden left tidy.
