I have now used AES Solar twice since May this year.

I was so delighted with our initial solar PV and battery storage installation, that I soon invited them back to install an expansion battery, doubling our storage capacity.

The entire process from planning to installation was seamless and efficient, with fast and friendly communication with all the AES Solar staff that I dealt with. They looked after all the G98/99 applications and all the necessary MCS certification. Once the first project was completed, I received a full documentation work-pack a week later. A truly 1st class service!

But a special shout out must go to their installation team. What a fantastic bunch of lads!

My ground mounted solar PV array and battery storage installation took only 2x days, and the quality of their work was quite remarkable. I hold all professional tradesmen to a very high standard, but I had absolutely nothing to worry about here, because the quality of their work far exceeded my high expectations. To say I was 'over the moon' would be a massive understatement.

Fast forward a few months, and it was time for the expansion battery to be installed. I was a little bit nervous about upsetting my faultless solar generation setup, which up until now, had been performing far beyond anything I had ever imagined. But my fears were instantly allayed when I discovered the 2x technicians that arrived, had been part of my original solar installation team. And yet again they did a phenomenal job! A mere 3 hours after their arrival, I was looking at an operational second battery, professionally installed to millimetric precision.

I had researched AES solar a couple of years before installing my solar panels, and I'd also sought advice from one of their senior engineers. After that, there was never any doubt in my mind that once I could afford it, AES Solar Ltd was going to be the company that I used to take care of all my solar needs.

Would I recommend using them? - Yes, in a heartbeat!

As a retired Marine Engineer with extensive mechanical and electrical experience, I am very satisfied with every aspect of the Tesla3 battery and roof mounted Solar array installed by AES Solar. Initial contact was informative, options were fully discussed, and despite long delays and design changes, for reasons outwith AES Solar control, the project team never faltered and the final system design was spot on. Installation was completed smoothly and professionally. The roof array team were fully prepared for my slated roof, and the Tesla battery & back-up team completed the electrical installation without fuss. The system was set to work and a full brief on system operation and safety matters given before departure. A very satisfactory experience from start to finish, and at a competitive price. Since installation in May 2025 I have received excellent technical support during my familiarisation with the system and its capabilities. An excellent and trustworthy company.

Four large trees taken out stumps removed,First class service,staff friendly,garden left spotless,could not fault there care and attention

Following previous satisfactory tree removal work by Epic we decided to use their services again for the trimming and lowering of our overgrown privet hedge – which had been left to grow untouched all summer. The hedge varied in height and we required it to be lowered and maintained at a constant level. The operation was carried out without use of line or level but merely by eye. We were well pleased with the final result and the hedge is now at a sensible level to be reached and maintained at an even height throughout. The company of course also trimmed the overgrown hedge and removed a huge amount of cuttings leaving the area clean and tidy.
Would recommend anyone requiring hedge work done to get a quote from Epic.

Involved a selection of tasks from removing damaged trees, trimming and chipping. We ended up having to have a very large (old) tree removed as a result of health issues identified during the visit. All work was carried out to a high standard by the three man team, including the significant clean up required. The team worked hard for the two days (especially the rope access climber).
They were knowledgeable, professional, this blended with empathy and humour made the whole experience a real pleasure.

Reduced a tree in height which was causing a concern in high winds, also reshaped a tree which another company had made a right mess off. It now looks balanced and natural. A huge improvement.
