Paul completed a full bathroom refurbishment in our 3rd floor flat. He is a consummate professional, who delivers a high quality service, with a friendly manner. Nothing is too much trouble and when I had a leak in another room, he turned out immediately. Over the course of several months he assisted me with the plumbing for a kitchen install and utility room, again I can't fault his work and have no hesitation in recommending him.

Replacing a Gas Boiler & Radiators

Paul Harley is a really nice and trustworthy person. He is both knowledgeable and courteous, providing first class service and value for money.
I recently needed to replace an old gas boiler and some radiators that were being problematic. After careful consideration, I decided to call Paul to ask for a survey and costing for what would be required to remedy the situation.
He arrived promptly when expected, listened carefully to our requirements, did a full survey and discussed his initial thoughts with us. A follow-on summary and costs sent to us shortly after the visit.
We decided to use his services and I’m very glad we did. What a gem of a tradesman he is. The work was successfully completed within the expected time scales, with no greater issues experienced than freeing air build-up in the pipes following the refilling of the heating system. Everything’s now settled down and it’s all working fine.
Since then, the full system has been inspected by British Gas, (for adopting into our existing HomeCare agreement with them – which they did). Their service engineer said, “there were no issues whatsoever with the system, the installation was first class and a very professional job”. We agree.
We’re delighted with his work and wouldn’t hesitate to use Paul’s services again for any further plumbing or heating work we may require.

I chose Paul Harley because of the reviews in Which? and Fife Trusted Traders. These glowing reviews are well deserved. Here is a tradesman who attends not only on the days he says but also at the time he states. He detailed his targets for each day and stayed until these were achieved (even into the evening) and when he departed he left no mess behind. The final bill contained no hidden extras and matched the original estimate. Also, a few days after completion, Paul returned to check for possible snagging. There was none. A job well done.
Friends and relatives who have seen our new toilet/shower room have praised it highly (with one well-travelled friend liking it to that in a five star hotel). I have no hesitation in recommending Paul Harley and, when the occasion arises, I know our friends will be engaging his services.

Bathroom installation.

We have used Paul in the past to put in new central heating and just as he was the first time around we were highly delighted with his workmanship. We will definitely call on him again should the need arise. He is also very good at attending to any emergency you may have.

Paul and tiler worked on refurbishment of Shower room. Great friendly service, good advice on choosing fittings and delighted with finish of job. Would recommend and will use Paul’s services again to refurbish bathroom.

Paul did a complete shower room refit. He came when he said he would, was clean and tidy in his work and has given us a very high standard shower room. We had one minor snagging but he came and rectified this the day it was reported.

We would certainly use him again and recommend him.

We ( well more my dad) called up him about 4pm on Wednesday 26/06/2019 to ask for help on a blocked drain.
He said he was on a job but would come by for a look in about 2 hours.
Right on 2 hours there was a knock at the door. We showed him the problem and he thought it would be a quick 10 minute fix.
An hour and a half, and some serious graft, later the drain was once again flowing free.
Not once did you complain or sigh about how long it was taking or that it was getting late in the day.
He just got stuck in at trying to unblock the drain.
Polite and professional and would totally recommend him to anyone.
And the cost was a fair bit lower than we expected too.

Paul replaced our boiler and hot water tank. He proved extremely responsive, answering texts very quickly which helped manage our expectations. He was extremely professional and flexible in accommodating our needs (he also replaced a toilet, sink and towel rail while at the house) and we are very happy with all the work completed. We have not used a more professional and responsive trade professional and would recommend him without hesitation.

Following a number of quotes Paul provided a very competitive quote for a new boiler, removal of water tank, which lead to an extension of bathroom with overall redesign of bathroom, which made a huge difference. Paul explained everything before starting and as I kept changing my mind he was very accommodating and provided everything we wanted, using highly quality materials. He is very skilled and his experience led to all work being finished to a very high standard.

Paul and his team left everything clean and tidy, we are delighted with our boiler and bathroom, I would highly recommend Paul for boiler and bathroom redesign. Paul was a friendly and accommodating gentleman who went over and above to ensure work finished on time and to a very high standard. He was very reliable and took great pride in his work.

Replacement of Gas Boiler. Cheaper than British Gas and other companies, turned up on time, identified underfloor pipework that was leaking, moved pressure gauge from attic to cupboard in hall.
Honest advice, and kept us informed of extra costs involved.

Paul was recommended by a neighbour and I'm very glad they did. Paul provided a competitive quote, to replace our bathroom. We supplied the bath etc. and Paul offered advice on options and some of the finer details to create a quality finish.
Paul was very accommodating of our daughters need to revise for highers. So the job was split in two with works actually being completed a couple of months apart (our decision).
