The works included removing a leaking fishpond, laying a new stone patio, steps and a resin patio and resin sloped path. The team were brilliant to work with and when we hit a few challenges during the project, they were great at suggesting options for possible solutions. We required additional paving slabs in areas of our garden previously with stone chips as my wife has reduced mobility. We received good advice on the best layout. There was a bit of a delay between accepting the quote and the work, but overall this was acceptable. The team spent two full days completing the work and produced a much better outcome than we had expected. They showed initiative. All areas were left clean and tidy. Cheery and friendly staff who also completed a professional job.

My mother's back garden was landscaped. An old shed was removed, paving slabs laid and the fence repaired and fully panelled. A raised bed was removed and an existing raised bed was modified to make it easier to access.

All the work was done to a very high standard and it only took 3 days. The team were tidy, polite and very helpful.

Had drive installed tarmac and monoblocks with Indian sandstone step, to very high spec. Great workmanship ! Would definitely recommend and if get any other work done will definitely get them back.

We had a base for a summer house done. At the same time we had all the old slabbed paths removed and replaced with monoblocks.
All the contacts with either the owner or the workmen were both professional and friendly.

Matthew Brothers turned up when stated to review the job and provided a quote and time frame to actually do the job the next day.
They then turned up when stated and as drainage work was also involved took time to fully assess the situation before commencing work.
The work team were courteous and we were kept fully informed regarding the progress of the work, the site was kept tidy and they minimised disruption to ourselves and neighbours.
High quality materials were used for the job which was completed to a high standard, I have no hesitation in recommending Matthew Brothers and will happily use their services again.

I had a raised bed built in the back garden to grow vegetables. It is necessary as the soil is very poor and drainage is very poor. They did an excellent job, lifted the turf, dug foundation, filled with concreat, built a block wall, topped nicely, sourced the top soil to my preference. The workers were focused on th job, polite and everything you would hope for. Jim, the boss visited at least once a day and always had a chat where I could bring up any issues. Not that there was much for me to discuss as they were so good. I would recommend them to anyone.
