K2 Painting and Decorating

This is the first time i have used this painter and i was not disappointed. Allan was asked to paint my wooden soffits at the side of my house, he did an excellent job. He took time to complete the job to a high standard applying the correct layers of paint. He even filled the holes in the old wood leaving it looking brand new. Allan was on time, clean and tidy and went above and beyond. I have no hesitation in recommending Allan to others and would definitely use him again in the future.

We had our large kitchen redecorated (for the first time in 30 years). Allan was able to do all the prep/repair work to the plasterwork to a very high standard and do an amazing job with the paintwork, ensuring a good finish by using primer coats and multiple top coats. Its transformed our space and the professional finish really makes a difference.

Allan was great with communication leading up and a pleasure to have in our home during the work.

Would recommend and we will go back for future jobs.

We had our feature wall stripped and repapered, roof all walls and woodwork painted.
Allan did an excellent job of both the papering and painting.
He was a very conscientious worker and made sure all furniture was covered.
At the end of each day he left the room clean and tidy and at the end of the job he removed all of the rubbish.

I asked Allan to come and paint my hallway - walls, woodwork and doors. Allan is very personable and easy to get on with. His preparation is excellent and it shows in the final results. The was a problem with the front door because of materials used previously, but Allan persisted, did some research and problem fixed! Everyone who has been to my home has marvelled on how good the hallway now looks.
I then asked Allan to come back a few weeks later and paint the walls in my kitchen and the woodwork in my living room.
Again, Allan is meticulous in preparation. Also he is very tidy. I hate dust, but when Allan is sanding, he cleans as he goes, so there isn't dust all over the place.
I don't have anything else in the pipeline, but as soon as there is, Allan is the only person now I will contact. And I'm more than happy to recommend him.

We have recently had our hall decorated - quite a challenge as it's high and there was secondary glazing which had to be removed first. Allan took this all on board, removed the glazing to get to the paint job and then re-fitted them after he was finished. Every day he was here, he laid down the dust sheets, then at the end of every night, he lifted them then hoovered where they had been - WOW. He is meticulous in his preparation which shows when completed. We went out a lot of the time to give him peace to get on so just left him a key to let himself in and out. This is the second time we have asked for K2's services and already have a third planned. We really wouldn't go anywhere else now.

We had our livingroom, hallway and cupboards sanded, painted and cracks filled where needed. We are really pleased with the work carried out. Allan turned up on time every day over a period of 7 days. He did not rush the job and was very tidy with his materials. He was so patient when we needed to get in and out of the hallway when he was painting. A very friendly and hard working guy. We look forward to hopefully having more work done in the future!

Allan has painted our whole house, ceilings, walls, skirtings, door frames. Top quality and very neat. Tidy worker, good communicator. Did the work in various stages when it suited us, very flexible. Would definitely use Allan again.

Alan painted the external woodwork on our house and made an excellent job. He was very helpful and friendly and a made a big difference to the appearance of our house .

Two bedrooms were decorated by Allan. One just emulsioned (ceiling too) and all paintwork done. The second room was stripped, papered (thick lining paper and a feature wall), emulsioned (inc. ceiling), paint work all done too. Damp repair work was carried out in both rooms as well.

Both rooms looked amazing once complete. Allan’s work is of a very high standard. He’s quiet, hard working and tidied up fully as well.
Cost of work was fair.

Our cats took a shine to the feature wall and damaged two strips of the paper. Allan fitted us in to strip and re-paper.

Another fantastic job has been completed for me by Allan of K2 Painting and Decorating. He originally decorated my bedroom earlier in the year and I was so impressed I asked him to come back to decorate my lounge.
