At Ian Barrett Roofing, we have been consistently meeting and exceeding client expectations since we first began back in 2013. We are fully accredited member of Fife Trusted Trader. Excellent job insofar as I can tell. Arrived punctually, staff worked steadily throughout the job and everything was left very tidy on completion.
During the course of work it became apparent that some tile battens were rotten and the contractor somewhat unexpectedly replaced these without charge so that was a definite plus.

Complete roof was stripped and new boards, membrane and tiles done. A complete new roof and what a great job. Nothing was an issue for them, they just got on with the job. It was completed on time and they made a point of clearing and cleaning everything at the back of them.

I needed a dry verge fitting and my friend recommended Ian Barrett Roofing as they'd had work done by them. Everything was straightforward, they popped round that week to check out what was needed so they could quote. I was kept updated with their anticipated start date. Actual work done was efficient and tidy, no issues at all.

Old felt removed from our flat roof and new membrane replaced and deep flow gutter system replacing older, smaller ones. Which solved our leak problem. Great customer service and the guys were polite very helpful.

We recently had to replace an old asbestos roof on our double garage. Ian Barrett and his team were excellent. The guys who carried out the work arrived on the morning of the start date and continued working in a very efficient and courteous manner. The work was completed in a couple of days and we're delighted with the finished work.

We received a quote for the replacement of our slate roof from Ian Barrett Roofing Ltd and although it seemed a lot of money I asked around and a neighbour recommended them. It was on line with other quotes I had received. I therefore decided to go ahead with it so confirmed that I would like the work to be done. I wasn't sure of a start date but was not concerned. As it happened a cancellation meant that my roof replacement could go ahead. Unfortunately we were to be away during the work but were happy for them to do the work. The old slates which kept slipping were removed and replaced by Spanish slate. After our return the work was still in progress but it was soon completed and I was very happy with the result.

Solved a leak into a sun room by stripping and retiling small roof area, Work carried out efficiently and roof finished as it should have been done in the first place, but before our time in the house. Very happy with the work and no more leaks! Would highly recommend.
