Replacing corrugated asbestos roof on outbuilding with flat membrane and three skylights, and then fitting sedum trays, pebble surrounds etc.
Work started on date we had been given two months earlier with a very nice and competent team who were able to adapt work as needed (old building, not everything true).

Had years of moss removed from the north facing side of our roof. It was dry brushed then swept.
The company visited to survey what was needed, provided a detailed quote promptly and arranged a date for work to be done. Work carried out as arranged. There were some repairs also required which were done within the price quoted and all left tidy afterwards.
Would highly recommend this company.

Ian stepped in after a poor experience with another contractor who badly let our project at our community hall down. The works carried out were first class as well as additional works relating to water ingress and more serious damage, Ian’s team carried out the repairs to the highest standard. He is due back in the New Year for the next part of our works and know we are going to have a first class professional job again. We are very grateful to Ian for stepping in and delivering great work.

The soffits on my roof needed replacing. I had previously looked at getting it done but quotes were very expensive. Ians firm did the work for much less, in good time and to a high standard. Very happy.

Barrets repaired some harling damaged by tenants.
They attended site quickly to give reasonable costing.

Ian and his team did a full replacement of our garage roof including installing roof lights (windows). He arranged for the joiners and fit in with their schedule so that the job was completed quickly and we weren't left with a half finished job. Very pleased with the outcome. Communication was also excellent both via email and on site. Left very tidy too! Would recommend.

A complete overhaul of slate roof including replacement of missing slates, new lead valleys and installation of chimney caps. The initial survey was carried out by Ian who owns the company. Quote was provided within a couple of days and there was good follow up communication when this quote was accepted. The two roofers who carried out the work were polite and hard workers, they even left me a note thanking me for the coffees and choccie biscuits. I have already recommend this company to a neighbour.

Excellent tradesmen, excellent administration staff, cleared all debris one minor thing when invoice paid perhaps someone could pick up email when administration on a/l - although paid on time showed as 10 days late.

Ian Barrett Roofing was recommended to us by a family member. They re-slatted our roof, installed two new Velux windows, installed new lead work, installed new gutters and rebuilt a chimney. We were extremely happy with the friendliness of the service received & quality of workmanship. When an unexpected issue arose midway through the work, it was handled professionally and to our satisfaction. We would recommend them and will be our first port of call if we need any roofworks in the future.

I have had three jobs carried out by this company - new guttering, gutter cleaning and window surround plastering and mastic replacement. I have nothing but praise for their ease to deal with, professional workmanship and experienced friendly staff. No job seems too big or too small for them, they pay the same attention to all. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
