The soffits on my roof needed replacing. I had previously looked at getting it done but quotes were very expensive. Ians firm did the work for much less, in good time and to a high standard. Very happy.

Barrets repaired some harling damaged by tenants.
They attended site quickly to give reasonable costing.

Ian and his team did a full replacement of our garage roof including installing roof lights (windows). He arranged for the joiners and fit in with their schedule so that the job was completed quickly and we weren't left with a half finished job. Very pleased with the outcome. Communication was also excellent both via email and on site. Left very tidy too! Would recommend.

A complete overhaul of slate roof including replacement of missing slates, new lead valleys and installation of chimney caps. The initial survey was carried out by Ian who owns the company. Quote was provided within a couple of days and there was good follow up communication when this quote was accepted. The two roofers who carried out the work were polite and hard workers, they even left me a note thanking me for the coffees and choccie biscuits. I have already recommend this company to a neighbour.

Excellent tradesmen, excellent administration staff, cleared all debris one minor thing when invoice paid perhaps someone could pick up email when administration on a/l - although paid on time showed as 10 days late.

Ian Barrett Roofing was recommended to us by a family member. They re-slatted our roof, installed two new Velux windows, installed new lead work, installed new gutters and rebuilt a chimney. We were extremely happy with the friendliness of the service received & quality of workmanship. When an unexpected issue arose midway through the work, it was handled professionally and to our satisfaction. We would recommend them and will be our first port of call if we need any roofworks in the future.

I have had three jobs carried out by this company - new guttering, gutter cleaning and window surround plastering and mastic replacement. I have nothing but praise for their ease to deal with, professional workmanship and experienced friendly staff. No job seems too big or too small for them, they pay the same attention to all. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

I have used Ian Barrett Roofing for 3 different jobs. Cleaning the gutters, putting in a new down pipe to get rid of standing water, and major repairs to the roof following storm damage. The guys did a superb job recently replacing the lead on the eaves and the loose slates, but also did a temporary repair immediately after the storm, to keep the flat watertight. I can only say that I am completely satisfied with all the work done, their attention to detail and their Customer Service. On the basis of the work done, and the support and Customer Service I have received, I am more than happy to recommend Ian Barrett Roofing Ltd.

Had them over for 3 visits to shore up our (formerly) leaky auld stone cottage and they’ve done a braw job. Lead overlaid coping stones, pointing on exposed gable end, and on and around the lums, and re-mortared the skews plus some work around the tiles. It’s done the trick and held up well over winter. Really good communication between the office and ourselves and the tradesmen themselves were very friendly and professional. All went very smoothly. We’d have no hesitation using them again and definitely would recommend them.

Throughout the entire project everyone who came on site was nice to deal with, respectful of the property and showed excellent workmanship. Jackie kept us updated throughout the project and was a pleasure to work with.
