At Ian Barrett Roofing, we have been consistently meeting and exceeding client expectations since we first began back in 2013. We are fully accredited member of Fife Trusted Trader. We will be working closely with you giving you regular updates of our progress. Also, if any unexpected problems arise, we will let you know straight away, giving you advice on the most cost effective and beneficial way to deal with it.

Rough casting two house walls and chimney. Check roof and carry out any necessary repairs.
I got prompt visit from Ian for quote and they started the job exactly on the day I requested. They were very good at communicating when they were coming or not, and why not.
The staff were tidy and very skilled.
I am very happy with the quality of the job, even though the job grew arms and legs as it progressed, and the boys probably thought it was the "job from hell". They kept me informed and asked my opinion.
My only slightly negative comment would be that I would have liked Ian himself to pop in during the work to check how it was going, especially as the job grew bigger as it went on.

Great roofer, great workmanship, great staff! First class from start to finish. We had our cottage roof replaced and our flat roof done, very pleased with the outcome. It's the second time we have used them and would use Ian Barrett Roofing again.

Thank you for carrying out an excellent repair to the bay window lead flashing and cleaned the gutters thoroughly too. All materials were cleaned up afterwards. The office team were great at keeping us up to date with when the work was being done and the paperwork.

Happy to recommend. They provided an accurate quotation, arrived on time on the date agreed and turned up each day until the job was completed. Staff were courteous and tidied up at the end of each day. We were kept informed of progress throughout the job.

I had a chimney rebuilt having previously used Ian Barrett before for roofing maintenance and rough casting. We had quite a short window for the work and the company were very responsive to this with updates from the office. Jackie was great with communication in the lead up to the works. The guys on site were friendly and tidy with the work being completed in the time specified. All in all very happy with the service provided.

Excellent job insofar as I can tell. Arrived punctually, staff worked steadily throughout the job and everything was left very tidy on completion.
During the course of work it became apparent that some tile battens were rotten and the contractor somewhat unexpectedly replaced these without charge so that was a definite plus.

Complete roof was stripped and new boards, membrane and tiles done. A complete new roof and what a great job. Nothing was an issue for them, they just got on with the job. It was completed on time and they made a point of clearing and cleaning everything at the back of them.

I needed a dry verge fitting and my friend recommended Ian Barrett Roofing as they'd had work done by them. Everything was straightforward, they popped round that week to check out what was needed so they could quote. I was kept updated with their anticipated start date. Actual work done was efficient and tidy, no issues at all.

Old felt removed from our flat roof and new membrane replaced and deep flow gutter system replacing older, smaller ones. Which solved our leak problem. Great customer service and the guys were polite very helpful.

We recently had to replace an old asbestos roof on our double garage. Ian Barrett and his team were excellent. The guys who carried out the work arrived on the morning of the start date and continued working in a very efficient and courteous manner. The work was completed in a couple of days and we're delighted with the finished work.
