HL Tree Services

As always, a delightful team - friendly, efficient, exceptionally helpful and did an excellent job. We have a very large beech hedge, and over the last three years they have transformed it by reducing the height and making it more manageable. Highly recommended.

Hedges & trees pruned etc.
Reliable,efficient & quiet

Following an initial survey and quotation by Harry, Fergus and Max carried out the crown reducing and shaping of three overgrown trees along with the removal of a dead stump. Arrived on time and carefully undertook the work. A friendly professional team and a pleasure to deal with.

Harry and his team did an excellent job for us. They cut down a lot of very tall fir trees and trimmed and shaped some other fir trees and they ground down the stumps of the cut trees, as well as helping us by axing down an old stump we had in the garden that looked terrible and was not possible to safely grind but now is invisible and looks brilliant. They are all so professional, very knowledgeable, reliable and were friendly and informed us along the way about everything they were doing. They cleared up all the debris so that the garden looked neat afterwards. I would highly recommend them if you want a really professional job done.

We had 5 trees needing attention one fully removed and the remaining trees cut back. The guys actioning the work arrived on time, were very friendly and completed the job as requested. All tree debris was shredded on site and garden cleared of any outstanding debris. Professional company, job completed as described and as per quote. No additional costs. Friendly team. Will definitely use services again.

Great tree removal service from this company. They were professional, very competitive rates and a very tidy finish to the job. 5* service and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I recently had a problem with a 40 year old Cotoneaster tree. I contacted H L Tree Surgeons and Harry found the time to come out on a Sunday evening. He gave me professional advice and was prepared to go to great lengths to help solve the situation. I would certainly recommend this firm who helped me enormously. A Trusted Trader without a doubt . I wish them all well.

Excellent service. Removal of bamboo carried out efficiently. Cleaned up after the job and the team were very courteous. Would recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Harry and his team took down a tree right next to my house wall. They were so professional, with great customer service. Delighted with the work they did. Would highly recommend.

The team did a fantastic job taking down three trees, which were neatly chopped into logs and stacked in my garage. Additionally, the three trees that were shaped look excellent, and I greatly appreciate that all the debris was bagged up and removed from the site.

The entire project was handled professionally and provided at a very reasonable price. I will certainly be highly recommending your services to others.

HL Tree services are the most professional tree surgeons (of many we’ve used over the years. Harry and his lovely team were great guys to work with on our massive beech trees. They were very knowledgeable and keen to do the best job for us they possibly could despite the hired in cherry picker not working as it should. They were very hardworking (working very long hours), all great communicators who are also fun to have around the garden. My gardener was even impressed by how well they cleaned up after the job finished. We had no complaints from neighbours or local residents despite the noise as they were friendly and shared updates with the locals on how things were progressing. I would highly recommend.

Quoted half a day and thats what it took Alex and Gus.
Crown reduced on Yew and Holly from 9 metres to 3 metres and overhanging Sycamore branches cut back.
All branches were chipped and any residual mess tidied up.
Definitely use again as good priced and professional.

Harry agreed to fell 2 trees. All dealt with very quickly from initial visit, production of an estimate through to the felling itself. Traffic management was required and this was arranged seamlessly by Harry and George. Harry and a colleague arrived on time on the day of the felling and they worked throughout the morning and removed all debris, checking that we were happy with their work. We would definitely consider using them again and would recommend their professionalism.

Work Done- 2 storm damaged trees cut down and removed.
Experience- Wonderful and faultless. From George in the office to Harry himself, Fergus and Peter they could not have been more friendly, polite, accommodating, efficient and understanding.
The work was carried out exactly as required, for a more than generous price and always with a smile.
They insisted on clearing up to the point of even blowing away the wood dust from sawing up branches and trunks.
Also they took away a large rotting storm damaged birdhouse for me and removed the dangerous metal spike it had left in the ground for no extra charge. They even helped me get a new one into the ground to replace it.
I could not recommend this company more, real old fashioned service, kindness and attention to detail, a real pleasure to deal with - Thank you so very much and blessings to you all, a great weight off my mind.

Removed a fallen tree for us and ground out the stump. Did the job in half a day and left the area neat and tidy. Would definitely use again.

We had several trees too near the house. Contacted Harry who responded quickly with a visit to see what was needing done. A few weeks later his team arrived as planned and were straight to work. For the three days they were on site they were very professional and efficient making the job look easy. I cannot fault Harry or his team. When the tools were packed up and the vehicles left for home the site was left clean and tidy. I would recommend H L Tree services without hesitation.

Arrived to carry out work at time/ date agreed. Communicated effectively about work required and carried out work professionally and with obvious knowledge of fruit trees! Value for money and reflected work done. Will go back for service again next year. Would recommend!

Contacted HL Tree Services to get a couple trees cut back and some stumps killed via EcoPlugs. Excellent company all round, highly recommend.

I contacted HL-Tree-Services about a very persistent Buddleia growing out of an outer wall of my property. After being repeatedly ghosted by other companies, HL-Tree-Services scheduled a site visit immediately. When an issue came up on the original date, they phoned me promptly to explain and then got back in touch a couple of days later to reschedule. On the new site-visit date they were perfectly punctual, and the same was true on the day of the actual job. The team seemed very knowledgeable, professional, and considerate throughout. They completed the work efficiently and left everything spotless. It’s only been one day, so I can’t yet say whether the Buddleia is fully gone long-term, but based on their expertise, I’m confident in their work. I would definitely recommend HL-Tree-Services and give them a well-deserved five stars!
