We have been a family run business for over 25 years. We provide professional electrical installation, maintenance and inspection services for domestic and commercial customers. We have recently expanded into fife after mainly working in Edinburgh and Lothians.

Fraser did an amazing job with our PAT testing, EICR inspection, and emergency lighting test. He also installed new emergency bulkhead lighting to make sure everything was compliant. Fraser was always on time, super professional, and really friendly. His communication was great, and the quality of his work was excellent. We're really happy with his services and will definitely call him again. Highly recommend!

Prompt and clear quotation for work to put in a new double socket and replace pendant light with 7 down lights to improve lighting in our kitchen. After quote accepted work was scheduled for later the same week. Grand job done by Fraser, giving good advice on light placement. Fully satisfied with standard of work and the result is a much brighter kitchen. Will definitely use again and would recommend them too.

Original quotation was for new EV point, and then additional small electrics to cabin and greenhouse. The latter works due to their nature was more expensive as on a day rate however completed to a very high standard. Comparability issues between car and EV charger however ongoing discussions with car manufacturer should hopefully ensure this is resolved.

We had a problem with the hall lights at the Guest House, fusebox breaker kept tripping so no lighting for the hallways and lounges.
Fraser carried out checks, found the fault and repaired the fault very quickly.
Amazing service and reasonably priced, would highly recommend Charles A Strachan Electrical contractor Ltd, to all family and friends.

We recently had a full lighting upgrade, emergency lighting fitted and other odd electrical jobs done in our training facility in Pitreavie.
Fraser initially visited to quote the job, due to his reasonable pricing and quick communication and answering of any questions or queries we had, we decided to go with him for the job.

Electrical issue meant no power and so boiler/hot water were off, called in the morning and Fraser attended later that afternoon, made a temporary repair to get the heating back on then returned the next day to complete the job. Very prompt response at short notice.

We were looking for an extra double plug socket to be installed and an upgrade to our current fire alarm system pending legislation changes in Feb'22.
Initially called for a quote but once agreed they came out the same day and completed the work.
