Work was carried out by two different teams. They were all really efficient . They arrived when they said they would Can’t fault them at all. All round really good job. Would certainly recommend them again

This was a reasonably complex roofing job involving the removal of asbestos sheeting from a large garage, renewal of all roof timbers plus the addition of cement tiles and preparation for integrated solar panels. Although Taylor Roofs did not perform all of work required, they provided very effective overall coordination of other parties as well as sub-contracting a few themselves. They always kept us in the loop.

Work was smooth and on time (despite freezing weather), from the first survey to the final invoicing. Any minor glitches were dealt with promptly, properly and graciously. In contrast with previous experiences with construction, it felt like we and Jamie Taylor were on the same side, with the same objectives. This spirit operated through the Taylor Roofs team, helpfully setting a high benchmark for customer satisfaction for the other contractors.

We are very happy with the results and the experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Taylor Roofs again, nor would we hesitate to recommend them to others.

Replacement of flat roof. Survey was helpful and the person gave good advice. The work was carried out to a great standard. The team (Ben and John I think were the names) were diligent, tidy and helpful. It was completed quicker and more cleanly than expected, and garden was left pretty tidy after. Admin side was also really good, the office staff were very helpful and efficient. Will definitely use again in future!

Ryan and Angus did a great job taking old ridge down and putting new dry ridge on, gutters were left clean all old materials taken away and they left the back and front of the house very clean.I would highly recommend this company. When Taylor roofing first came to see me everything was fully explained and I would definitely use them again if need be.

Full roof removal and replacement, 2 bed semi-detached house in Bathgate.

Taylor stood out, attention to detail of staff/roofers consistent throughout. Impressed by the culture. They care about their roles & the impact each has on customers. Simple choice to use even if their quote had not been the most competitive, which it was. Quality of job faultless. Slight damage caused by skip co fixed by Taylor within the hour. Will definitely use again (I've already for another property). Highly recommend to anyone considering roofing works. Very happy customer.

Previously I’ve used Taylor Roofs to replace the roof of my garage. This time it was to do a similar job on the flat roof of a small extension. Again I was very happy with the service from initial contact with the office until completion of the job.

We had a recurrent leak in our roof . It had been “repaired “by 2 other companies , but they obviously had not got to the cause of the leak .
The surveyor at Taylor Roofing removed tiles and took photos and explained the cause of the leak and how to fix it . The estimate was reasonable and quick , the company kept us informed of the timeline for the work .
The roofers worked for 2 days and were friendly and tidied up after the work . We also had work done on the gable end and are pleased with the results.

I had some damaged flashing round a solar panel from the high winds. Since the house was under 2 years old, Persimmon Homes were responsible to get it repaired. Stewart from Tailor Roofs came out initially for a quote of the work, but after a quick look, took it upon himself to repair it there and then in less than 20 minutes. Fantastic work, no messing about wasting time reorganising another visit and has prevented a lot of potential further damage from the winter weather ahead.

Extensive roofing repairs carried out including tile refixing and replaced, ridge tiles refixed, end pieces replaced, guttering fixed, valleys tidied. Scaffolding arranged to provide safe working access. All works carried out on agreed date, engineers arrived on time, work carried out by hard working team over four days, very professional approach as we were kept updated with progress.

Having used Taylor Roofs at a previous property, and being very happy with the workmanship and cost, we recently had them along to quote for some work on guttering and valleys for our latest property.
This is a 115 year old bungalow so very different from our previous 1980's detached villa.
Our home report had flagged up some minor damp issues in the loft space which we were keen to have addressed before winter.
Stewart came out to do our survey, arriving right on time, and spent a good hour in the loft space and on the roof itself going over the structure.
As with our previous job Stewart talked me through his findings, pointing out the issues in the loft space with me present and with video of the findings on the roof itself where I couldn't see them in person.
All explanations were clear and in 'laymen's' terms although I managed to pick up a bit of jargon for future reference, valleys for example.
We had been dreading major roofing works, always a worry with a new property (particularly an older one) but Stewart identified issues with the gutters which were leading to poor drainage and water finding its way into the roof as a result.
A very reasonable, fully itemised, quote was issued for the works and we were happy to proceed.
As previously the roofing team arrived promptly on the scheduled work days and put in a full days effort with an end of day tidy up and progress report.
Of particular note was the re routing of our Sky dish cabling which, for reasons unknown, had been run along the inside of the existing guttering.
This cabling was properly attached to the walls instead and this level of attention to detail and 'doing things right' has been typical of our experience of Taylor.
Would certainly use this company again and would be happy to recommend to others.

We had the garage roof repaired and a downpipe replaced. Ben and Jamie worked hard and kept us informed as the work progressed. They removed all the old wood and cleared up after the work. I would recommend this company.

We used Taylor Roofing to do our skylight replacement and the process went very well from the estimate stage through to completion. The two lads sent out to do the job were Daniel and Lewis and they were very professional, well mannered and worked very hard. They kept us up-to-date with developments and the office was great with the communication too. We would have no hesitation in using them again.

After using Taylor roofing for our main roof replacement last April it was the easiest decision ever to get them to replace our flat roof too. These guys are the ultimate team to contact for any of your roofing requirements and we cannot recommend them highly enough. The 2 guys send out to do the job were Ben & Davy,these guys like the rest of the team are an absolute credit to Jamie the owner. They are hard working,dedicated professionals and true tradesmen as well as being very well mannered. Their attention to detail is second to none and we are delighted with the finished article. They arrived early every morning and made sure the whole area was spotless before they finished. The guys from Taylor Roofing came and fixed my Flat Roof.
The work done was just simply superb. The two guys who came to do the work were totally professional in all aspects. The clean-up they did after the work was completed was just amazing.
The manners and the respect shown to me from start to finish were just outstanding. The guys actually took time to show me at all stages what and why they were doing things.
Both Ben and David are a real credit to Taylor roofing.
