Source Electronics were incredibly professional. I visited 2 stores before going to Source Electronics looking for a heating device to remove the back of a phone, and they both didn’t have the equipment available. They dealt with the issue really efficiently and I was in and out within 20 minutes.

Not only were they incredibly professional, but the customer service was great. The best repair shop in Edinburgh and I’d definitely recommend.

Highly recommend, in the past I’ve had phone screen replaced and purchased case and screen protector staff are always very friendly and helpful, today I went to buy replacement remote control and was delighted when they were able to repair my broken one.

Outstanding service - the shop was one of the few to have a particular screwdriver that I needed (T3), and then when I asked for help with a screw that I thought I stripped, the gentleman at the counter very kindly helped and refused to take any money for his service.

Saved my day twice! Will definitely return.

I was looking to purchase a bracket to mount a TV to the wall. On the recommendation of a friend I tried this place. The 2 gents in the shop could not have been more helpful, breaking down the products on offer, finding out the requirements I wanted, including the type of wall etc the bracket was being fitted to and also recommending what wall plugs and connections to use. Despite the shop being busy at the time, they took their time going through the options and not rushing a sale. I left with everything I needed for the job and am extremely satisfied with the end result. I would not hesitate to recommend Source Electronics to anyone looking for high quality products at a reasonable price from knowledgeable and experienced staff.

Purchased a 2nd hand laptop plus got various software issues sorted on another item all at a very realistic price.
What an excellent company/shop . Having dealt with various other computer shops this is without doubt the best. I dealt with a bloke called Alistair and although I am not too bad with computers, he made feel totally at ease spending as much time with me without making me feel stupid as maybe we are all not wiz kids plus he didn't ever give you any sales pitch unlike what some shops do.
I work at Edinburgh university which is 5 mins from this shop and I will without hesitation recommend these guys as they totally deserve their 5 star rating, this would be excellent for someone like a student or someone who needed their item fixed quickly, as these guys will do just that.
I have been incredibly lucky to come across a few different type of shops that have supplied an equally great service, but none better than these guys.

I took my laptop into Source Electronics, on the recommendation of my Friend. The guy I dealt with was Alistair. Just an honest, decent guy, explained what he was going to do with my computer in a language I understood, cost was told upfront and the service was exceptional. With so many computer shops out there I cannot recommend this company High enough. If you want quality work at reasonable cost, this is the shop. Alistair was also keen to address your concerns, and all questions were answered with knowledge. Great service, First Class.

I bought an external hard drive from these guys. The service was efficient with knowledgeable advice as they offered one which was more compatible with a PS4 and it was cheaper to boot

Discovered this shop had lowest price of a new Beko washing machine model I was after. surprised it was £20 cheaper than Curry's. Ordered it and found that delivery and fitting was yet again both cheaper than Curry's. Delivered when I wanted it, father and son attended, excellent service. A surprising gem of a shop/staff and should be definitely not overlooked in comparison to large stores.

Went to fix my Iphone SE screen. Job was well done in 30 minutes! Would definitely go back for other repairs.

I had my iPad 2 screen (digitiser) replaced at a fraction of the cost of an Apple store repair. Beautifully done and very quick. Source Electronics is an excellent store.

Recently went to this organisation to replace what I thought was a faulty screen for a Galaxy S6. They first of all checked to make sure that the problem was a faulty screen and it turned out to simply be a faulty connection rather than a screen problem. This in turn meant it was fixed a fraction of the price that a replacement screen would have been. Trust worthy, honest, organisation that fixed the problem quickly - will definitely use them again in the future.

Brilliant service. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys. Over the years I've had several items repaired and have also bought electrical products from them, most recently, a refurbished iMac. They offer great value for money and are only too happy to help with queries and answer questions. Would highly recommend them.

I popped in with my lap top .It did not work .Having explained Might be wrong , the person who served me removed the battery .After waiting .he put it back in .All was returned to normal .He said it was a build up of static .Some firms might have kept the computer and then charged a full fee .But this man was knowlegeable and honest .I offered payment ,and pressed him to accept .He refused as he had spent such a short time solving the problem .This marks out a firm I can really trust and they will have my support in the future .

Wonderful people. I went in because my laptop wasn't working and I needed a cable to fix it. Not only did they help me with that, they also went out of their way to let me use their equipment to trouble shoot my computer and get it working again. Amazing service, would recommend to anyone!

I have been using this shop for years and at all times been 100% happy with the. Nothing is too much trouble and believe me I try them to the limit as I am not very technologically minded. They come to my house most willingly to help me with the most trivial of problems. They are always so pleasant and helpful and I call the 'my boys'. and my boys they will continue to be. The staff couldn't be more helpful and approachable, always trying to provide the best, cost effective solutions to any problem. They've repaired both my iPad and the family laptop and on both occasions they quickly identified the faults and carried out repairs at a very reasonable cost. I'm happy to recommend this trader and will definitely use them again should the need arise.

Our daughter attends a drama class each Saturday and we discovered Source as they are located right opposite the venue. And what a discovery! These chaps are superb and level of service really is outstanding and excellent value for money also. We have recommended this shop to many of our friends in East Lothian where we live.

Completely smashed my screen on my iPhone and didn't think it would work again. Took it into the shop and they fixed the screen within a day at a very reasonable price. Phone now works perfectly. I would defiantly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant guys down at Source Electronics! Super friendly, super efficient and there was not 1 problem with my phone that they could not fix (and I had quite a few!) It's free to go down and hand in your item that needs fixing, free for them to have a look at it and figure out what the problem is and then they only charge you for an actual fix, and only for the items used to fix it..

I had smashed my iPhone phone screen and popped into source electronics. I was greeted with a smiley man called Pete who was happy to help. He was very knowledgeable and asked me lots of questions. He gave me an estimated time for The phone being fixed and within an hour my iPhone looked like a brand new phone! Compared to other places they are cheap and get the job done! He answered all my questions and gave exceptional customer service! He's a value to the shop and I'll defo be recommending source electronics!

Since moving up I was delighted to find the shop that my brothers used many years ago. This shop, for me, and for a lot of other people in my stair, have done nothing but help me with many many problems I face with technology. Having brain damage, this shop has provided me with more help than some caring agencies. They will help anybody who is genuine and in need of help.
