Great company to work with. Very responsive. When problems arose (which inevitably do with these types of projects) felt like we were in safe hands. Would highly recommend.

Rollo removed an old conservatory and built a new extension in its place. This involved access through a tight space and tying together the original 1930's bungalow with a 1960's extension. The work was completed to budget and only a week or so behind schedule. Rollo completed any minor extra work that was uncovered without hesitation and we are delighted with the result.

Having had two cliched very bad experiences with Edinburgh building contractors, Rollo Developments have renewed our faith and we would not go anywhere else now as we trust them implicitly. Not praise I would throw out lightly given the previous experience we had. The workmanship is exceptional, in particular custom joinery and their professionalism, punctuality and customer service is remarkable. Could not recommend them a firm more highly.

I had a rear extension which included a new kitchen, a bathroom renovation in the existing house and recently a bedroom renovated in the older part of the house. The level of planning, communication, customer service and attention to detail was outstanding. It was also helpful to get suggestions, such as creating one roof light rather than two which I had in original plans for more sunlight and a bigger impact in the room. I received sound budget advice, advice on contingency for anything unforeseen and I am really pleased with the finish. In particular thanks to Stuart our contracts manager for always being on hand to answer questions and provide updates on progress. I have recommended Rollo to friends and family and would use Rollo again for sure!

I chose this company because of the good reviews. They certainly deserve it. My project was complicated so I expected issues. This company rose to the challenge. From beginning to end I was part of all discussions. Where issues arose that required further expertise then that’s what happened. All trades who were part of the project were courteous and knowledgeable. They reduced inconvenience to me as client because of forethought. They cleaned up after every piece of work.
Their administration was first class as was their customer services. Their excellent after sales is “unique” in this society.

I had a new kitchen designed and fitted. The work involve maximising use of a small space and some bespoke cabinet work to create a pantry cupboard. Rollo were professional throughout and managed all trades required to complete the project, including initial design of the kitchen. The project was delivered within agreed costs and importantly for me, in time for Christmas 2021! I’m already speaking with Rollo about work elsewhere in the house and would recommend them.

Another great job done by Rollo who at all times provide clear correspondence, pricing and go above and beyond to meet/exceed their clients expectations. This job included manufacturing and fitting our new front door and sandstone threshold, using their sister company to keep the work in house to ensure a truly bespoke product. Their follow up care is also second to none.

New back and front doors. Both being not standard sizes had to be custom made. Couldn't fault the work in any way. Everything was exactly how I wanted. Left everything clean and tidy. Certainly use this company again.

We used the Timbex part of the company for making and installing a Divider Screen with oak slats within a frame joined by metal poles within a plastered wall:

Rollo Developments did a major renovation for us in difficult conditions between lockdowns. The quality of the work was very good, despite many challenges to overcome with an old building throwing up unexpected issues. Customer service from the team is a real focus, especially from Lewis, one of the family, who project managed the work. Issues were resolved quickly and the team ensured all snagging was complete and we were satisfied.

Fantastic work on our bathroom that was in a long over due upgrade. The team at Rollo made the process easy, from logistics of ordering materials, planning of works, structural to bespoke cosmetic changes with unique finishes we have a bathroom we are proud of! Including re-routing pipe work, a recycled glass worktop, a bespoke black concrete and a hidden Narnia style cabinet!

From the outset Rollo Developments took charge of the renovation at my new property in Gullane. The house it self was very dated and needed a complete renovation from a new shower room, kitchen, new fire place, front & back doors, new boiler and even a full rewire to meet the new requirements- they took care of the lot! The work has been carried out to a great standard and we can’t be more pleased with the outcome. Sean, Stuart and the boys are absolutely amazing to get on with and made the journey very easy for us as it can be a stressful time. Communication was there from the start right through to the finish (which isn’t always there). I really can’t recommend Rollo Developments enough, 5 stars!

Rollo Developments created a bespoke joinery bar, we designed for our wedding. They worked with us to deliver the very best product for our budget, and went above and beyond to meet the deadline of our wedding.

Rollo Developments incorporated our garage and utility room into our kitchen to give us a large extended kitchen and living area.

Extremely professional from first contact, this continued throughout the entire project. As we were not living near the site at the time, the constant updates, suggestions and advice offered was hugely beneficial to us and enabled decisions to be made quickly and efficiently.

The entire team of workmen were skilled, tidy and friendly, and the job was completed to an extremely high standard that we are delighted with. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rollo Developments to anyone.

Rollo undertook window repairs and I can't praise their team enough for the qualty of work, friendliness and tidiness!
