We live in a B-listed top floor flat in the West End of Edinburgh. We simply love what Glaze & Save has done for us. The quality of the materials and installation, and the great appearance of the windows, are there for all to see. Everyone at Glaze & Save associated with our project has also been the best in customer care throughout the process. Actually anyone, but particularly those in listed buildings, should consider the Glaze & Save secondary glazing system as an effective alternative to double-glazing. We believe our money was well spent and it still puts a smile on our faces.

We returned to our flat a few years back, and we had initially researched all the double-glazing options to provide the needed insulation from wild Edinburgh weather and street noise, and relief from albeit minor condensation. All these problems were immediately remedied by installing Glaze & Save's magnetic system of secondary glazing - at a much lower cost than quotes we had received for double-glazing. Fitting was quick and painless and not invasive - we kept all our original windows and working shutters completely intact.

I am afraid, for us, double-glazing just did not stack up and created too many difficulties in its technology and installation. Glaze & Save provided us with a simple and effective solution.

Really fantastic. Great product and was perfect for us as we live in an A-listed building so double glazing was never gong to be an option. The secondary glazing we had installed in most of our house has made an immediate difference to retaining the heat and the house is most definitely warmer now. I'm sure this will save us lots on our heating bills! It is a really amazing product and one that takes very little selling. What I liked very much as well was the fact that the glazing was very much made bespoke and was fitted to match the windows already there - it does not stand out at all. The service from the team was also first class. Overall, could not recommend highly enough. First class all round.

Having endured many winters in the New Town Conservation Area of Edinburgh, with wonderfully made, but unmistakably single glazed windows, of various shapes and sizes, I was I was ready to move to the Bahamas. Or anywhere frankly.

My parents had used this trader a year or so before, in their period property, so they came highly recommended to me. The work done at my parents house was exceptional and, in the nicest possible, way invisible.

Having seen that, I underestimated the hours of craftsmanship entailed, attention to detail given and quality of finish delivered; until it came to my property, when I was at home to watch it happen.

Thorough surveys were conducted prior to installation and the recommendations were clearly led by evidence (independent EPC), as to what would be the most effective areas to target to improve thermal efficiency.

The installation delivered what was discussed and quoted, in a professional and efficient fashion, with unexpected minor details being discussed, and incorporated, at the time, such is the bespoke nature of the work.

The results are immediately apparent. My property has a more uniform temperature, humidity is lower and the noise level indoors is much reduced. The reduction in noise is perhaps the most immediately noticeable effect, with the temperature a close second.

I live in a listed building with large, beautiful old windows, which I count as a privilege and a pleasure. In too many months of the year, however, old sash windows can be a cold, damp and expensive headache. Glaze and Save have now rectified all three weaknesses with their secondary glazing system, doing so with great technical knowledge, practical skill and aesthetic sensitivity. Units were so expertly fitted, trims so cleverly colour-matched that, not once but twice, I entered my room and questioned what part of the project, if any, had been completed. The system really is that discreet, the management and execution that impressive.

We've noticed an immediate difference after having Invisitherm glazing installed by Glaze & Save. Our rooms are quieter and much warmer, and the system blends seamlessly with the period features of our property. The team were friendly, helpful and accommodating throughout the process, and provided very helpful general advice on insulating our home.

This company demonstrates outstanding professionalism. We had four timber windows which, although in very good condition, were single glazed. Glaze and Save obviously 'know their stuff' about the issues regarding heat loss, condensation and noise ingress to a home. They provided excellent pre-installation information and communicated very well throughout the whole process. The free loan of a dehumidifier was a bonus. The installers were pleasant, hard working and tidy.
In place, the product (secondary double glazing) is almost invisible. This might even be a way to further insulate windows which are already double glazed. Much more cost effective than replacement windows, I would certainly use this company again.

We recently had Invisitherm secondary glazing fitted in our early 19th-century house and are delighted with both the product and the exemplary professionalism of the installation team. Communication with the Glaze & Save team was excellent throughout the whole process and we have no hesitation in recommending the company. Rarely these days do you find such quality of workmanship.
While these are early days to judge the effectiveness of this ingenious system I am confident we will see significant benefits in thermal insulation, reduced road noise, etc. (I speak as someone who was trained as a joiner and has over 50 years of DIY experience.)

Excellent communication throughout, from the first survey to the installation itself, and thereafter. Worked with me and the timelines imposed by the granting of my Energy Saving Trust loan, and the work was done to a great standard. Considerate installers, who left everything smart and tidy.
The system itself seems great - yet to try it through the winter, but so far, so good. We're in a listed building, so there's no option to go for double glazing; this seems the next best alternative. Blends in so well it's hard to see there's anything there at all.
Should make a huge difference to condensation issues and heat loss - looking forward to cheaper bills. Already improves sound insulation.

Glaze and Save installed Invisitherm secondary glazing panels on all seven windows at my flat. The panels have vastly increased warmth, eliminated condensation, drastically reduced the noise of the nearby motorway, and have resulted in a significant reduction in my energy bills. Glaze and Save's customer service was excellent - some of the best I have experienced.

Unlike very many products, this one does exactly what it says on the tin. The product is clever, technically innovative and the fitting is carried out expertly. The end result is an invisible heat and noise screen at a fraction of the price of double glazing, and without the necessity to replace traditional windows.

This is the second winter that we have had glaze and save secondary glazing on our sash and case windows and the difference is amazing ! No condensation and no draughts ! Our old victorian house heats up quicker and stays warm for longer. The sound proofing quality is fantastic. Our beautiful sash and case windows still look lovely as the secondary glazing has a very narrow frame painted exactly the same colour as our Windows making it nearly invisible. The team were very professional when fitting and stuck exactly to the time scale with no hidden costs.

Before to purchase of of the Invisitherm secondary glazing, a representative (Deborah) of the company visited and spent a lot of time explaining the system, its benefits and the process of installation which was extremely helpful. Throughout the process, she kept in touch to check that everything was going smoothly. The installers of the secondary glazing did an excellent job, completing everything on time and tidying up afterwards. They even repainted the woodwork around the glazing that had to be worked on before the secondary glazing could be attached. A slight snag on the final day of installation was promptly fixed within a couple of days by the lead installer. Workarounds were carried out to ensure that I could still clean the windows without too much extra effort after the installation. Clear advice was also clearly given on how to look after the system. All the people I dealt with in this company were very friendly and professional. I am very satisfied with my new windows (my flat is now much warmer and quieter), so I would fully recommend using this company.
