I have been in charge of two large houses having secondary glazing fitted, one (a church Rectory) was done recently; it has made a big difference, the second (my own home)n has been done over several years and is fantastic. We are warm at last.

We had stalled putting in double glazing into our lounge windows because we simply could not bear to see our beautiful Oregon pine windows damaged in any way to accommodate 'factory made sealed units'. Glaze and Save were recommended to us and we were impressed by Rory's site visit. He knew what he was talking about and had many useful observations on our woodwork and glazing.
Not long after that site visit Kevin turned up and installed the glazing. He was courteous, clean, tidy and competent. Within two days we had our double glazing installed and it is almost impossible to detect the glazing. Our Oregon pine windows are still a joy ; now the dreaded drafts have disappeared and the room is much warmer.

Installation of Invisitherm panels on all stained glass windows and clear windows in a church built in 1850.
The work was undertaken by various members of the installation team.
Need for the church to be available for Sunday services, scheduled weddings and baptisms and funerals was always accommodated and worked around.

Fitting of 'InvisiTherm' magnetic secondary glazing to several unusually designed multiply-divided windows in two bedrooms at my mum's house, a 1950s one-off bungalow. The big advantage of the glazing system was improved energy efficiency and warmth of the rooms, whilst maintaining the original windows and so avoiding planning permission in a conservation area. They matched the colour of the window frames exactly, so no need to repaint, and enabled two small hopper windows to be opened easily for ventilation.
We have a third room installation planned for next week, and some further smaller windows that we are awaiting quotations for. The secondary-glazed rooms now feel much warmer, with condensation only on the coldest winter mornings.
The company CE, Tanya, is very amiable and dedicated, with a good environmental-ethos. David who did both installations was very pleasant, skilled and tidy. The success of the company have made them extremely busy, so there was a much longer wait for the current installation, but the product is worth the wait.

Glaze&Save installed secondary glazing on my single pane sash windows. I knew the secondary glazing would help but I wasn't expecting it to be so good. The house is much warmer and quieter and the central heating temperature has been lowered by 3c producing excellent energy saving

We've been on a 10 month journey with Glaze and Save and all of it has been perfect. From the initial home visit and quote in February to the installation in November, communication has been faultless (and fun). Kevin and Cory, the fitters, were quiet, conscientious, and tidy - in fact, our house was hoovered more in the 5 days they were with us than it's probably ever been! The product seems to be working very, very well too. Condensation levels have plummeted and the boiler for our underfloor heating isn't firing nearly as much. When you sit on the loo next to what was the coldest window, you also don't get hit with a cold air or leaves blowing in! No one will ever take that joy away from me.

The only downside is very, very, very minor. One of the fitters left a half eaten empire biscuit. Savage.

I had secondary glazing installed throughout my listed property and you can't actually see that it is there! Our houses have sash and case windows which we are not permitted to replace with double glazed units. What a difference it has made already. They guys who came to measure and fit were very mannerable and by the time the installation was complete, you couldn't even tell they had been there. They even hoovered the carpets right down to the front door! I have already recommended them to a couple of people in my village.

We had the windows of our ground floor rooms fitted with Glaze and Save secondary glazing earlier this summer; until the recent heatwave we had been reserving judgement on the efficacy of the system until the autumn or winter. However, the heatwave really opened our eyes as to how effective the system was in keeping our reception rooms in particular cool and comfortable. There was a very significant reduction in temperature in these rooms compared with the rest of the house and, of course, the outside. We were promised 'heat reflection' and that was indeed the case.
We look forward to a similar situation in reverse with heat retention to the inside as far as winter temperatures are concerned!
The system was also 'sold' to us on its being un-noticeable and indeed that is very much the case.
The system is undoubtedly quite expensive but we can now say 'worth the price'.

I am so glad to have found Glaze and Save. They provide an amazing product and truly excellent service. We had been searching for several years for a solution to our single glazed, old and draughty, sash and case windows. We now have beautifully fitted secondary glazing that is already making a huge difference to the warmth and tightness of the house. And the reduction is traffic noise is amazing! The information we were given by Tanya before installation is invaluable and Scott, who installed the windows, did a skilled and neat job. We really enjoyed having him here for the 3 days it took for him to install the Invisitherm panels on all 8 windows. The overall cost is a fraction of the prices we had been quoted for replacement wood sash and case double glazing. So it is win win all round!

We are in a B-listed building with 12feet high, single-glazed sash windows, which can't be double glazed for legal reasons. As with previous older, single glazed properties, there was a lot of heat loss and almost constant, heavy condensation on the inside, dripping onto the wood frames.

We approached Glaze & Save a little over two years ago, and they have provided us with the perfect solution. They were able to match the colour of their frames to our wood panelling, so it is virtually impossible to tell apart, The view remains unaltered; if you wouldn't know, you wouldn't be able to tell there is a second layer of glazing present. Also, because the system is entirely removable, we didn't need Listed Building Consent to install it, because there are no structural changes to the property. Finally, because of the ingenuity of the system, we are able to open our windows when we want to without much hassle.

Practically, we could tell the difference from day one, when the room temperature didn't drop as much as we were used to. Our living room is quite big, and pretty much needed constant central heating, often backed up by using the wood stove, to feel comfortable. We can now generally rely on the wood stove alone, with the central heating only needed first thing in the morning!

We also lost the condensation on the inside of our windows entirely, which allowed the windows to dry out, and we have now been able to re-varnish them back to their former glory.

We were quite skeptical at the start about the promised benefits of Invisitherm, but it has proven to be worth every pound invested in it. Finally, we are really impressed with Glaze & Save's friendly staff and Customer Service. Even after two years they are as friendly and helpful as they were when we first got in touch. We highly recommend both the company and their product.

We live in part of a Victorian mansion with very large windows. We tested Glaze and Save by having 3 installed in 2018 and have now just had another 9 installed. The reduction in the cold air coming from the windows is very noticeable. The price is favourable compared to other forms of window restoration and draft proofing and overall the system seems to be more effective. We are still able to use our wooden internal shutters which is a bonus at night. The joiners who installed the systems were very professional and very tidy and the company takes a great deal of trouble to make sure everything is right.
