Moved flats ground floor to a top floor. Arrived before scheduled time and had everything loaded in space of couple hours with plenty room to spare in vehicle and I worried that I had too much! At the other end they worked tirelessly to get all my furniture up several flights of stairs and Kyle obligingly hung a couple pictures up for me in the passing as he was tall!
Great service and would definitely use again and recommend without hesitation.

Removal of ~10 pieces of furniture and ~40 boxes and bags from a second floor flat to Big Yellow self storage.
Chris was recommended to me by Big Yellow and got in touch very quickly. I have had difficult moves in the past, with both removal companies and on my own and I was dreading this one since it involves a lot of different moves to different places, but the guys made it so easy for me. They arrived ahead of time, and were happy to adjust to my needs, which gave me time to finish off some last bits of packing while they were moving the things I already had packed. They were incredibly efficient, careful and pleasant to talk to. Chris also offered to help me with other parts of my move if I needed it. The van is a great size, all my stuff barely filled a third of it.
I honestly could not have been happier, and I highly recommend them to anyone, regardless of how far you're moving.

My wife and I contacted Edinburgh Ideal Removals to clear two rooms from our flat that had been used as storage, there was over 10 years of junk in both rooms that ranged from old books and bookcases to clothes and old electrical items, paint tins etc.
None of it was bagged and we checked with Chris that they would be able to do this for us when we first contacted Edinburgh Ideal Removals, he replied that that was certainly something they could do.

Chris asked for some pictures of the rooms so he could give us an accurate quote, after I emailed them to him I received a very reasonable quote which we accepted and a date and time for the uplift was agreed.

Chris and his colleague arrived on time in a fully liveried van and after checking if we had any specific Covid-19 precautions they would need to take they quickly set about bagging and removing everything, even double checking if we were sure we wanted some items to be taken away... which was a pleasent surprise and very honest of them!

Their work rate and professionalism was astonishing, what i expected to take 3-4 hours they completed in little over 2 hours and if it hadn't been for the flat door being open for those 2 hours letting in a breeze we wouldn't have known they were in the flat, they worked tirelessly without any noise or idle chatter.

We couldn't have been happier that we employed the services of Edinburgh Ideal Removals and would have no hesitation in using or recommending their services again.

I've used Edinburgh Ideal Removals twice now and both times been very happy with their efficiency, communication and the obvious care they took with my belongings. This time they put the contents of my flat in a storage unit and I was very happy to see how well they'd taken the time to organise the stuff so that I'm able to access things if needs be over the next few months.
I'll definitely use them again to move into my new home and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Chris and his team moved me at very short notice and could not have been more helpful. It was not a straight forward move as it involved 3 locations and a lot of stairs. They did extra for me too, which was much appreciated. Can't recommend them highly enough.

I am more than happy to leave this review as I had read lots of reviews before I decided to go with Chris. I lived in one of those awkward cobbled and side streets in Stockbridge and was really anxious about finding someone who could and would move me. On the move day the parking suspension I had booked was pointless as two cars parked in the suspended spaces and there was no way of moving them - trust me, I tried!! But alas, Chris and his colleague were not phased by this and absolutely brought a cheery sense of humour to what had started off as a stressful day. They safely parked the van and then proceeded to take over the moving of my boxes and furniture, a huge relief!
In no time and brilliantly packed and carefully manoeuvred, the van was packed and we were off. I rode along as I didn't have a car.
At the other end their professionalism continued, and their sense of humour, as they carried everything into my new home. Nothing was damaged or broken. What could have been a stressful exercise was executed with cheer, chat and a lot of evident professionalism, all for a very reasonable cost. Thank you Chris and your colleague

Very careful, punctual made moving house a breeze

My Mother in law was moving to a supported flat from a house she had lived in for 50 years and we needed a removal company who would give the extra care.
Having once run a small removal company myself I was put in charge of sorting it out. I phoned a few old contacts and was confidently put in touch with Chris from Edinburgh Ideal Removals. This was the best thing I could have done as Chris was immediately reassuring and friendly on the phone and his fee seemed very fair for the job involved.
On the day of the move my Mother in law was anxious. She needn’t have been: Chris and Ryan showed up exactly when we agreed; took very good care of her belongings and were patient and supportive, even when she was humming and hawing about where to put the furniture.
Edinburgh Ideal Removals made a stressful day relaxing. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

The best moving company there is!
Have moved homes 3 times and have used Chris all 3 times - he has never failed to deliver. From providing packaging materials to moving items within under 5 hours!! He and his team are amazing to work with and extremely professional. For the level of service his rates are extremely reasonable too. He is now almost family!

Chris was recommended by a removals service we'd used previously when they were unavailable. He arranged the move quickly and courteously and at a fair price (Glasgow->Edinburgh), with nary a complaint about the 3rd floor flat involved. Very professional and friendly - would not hesitate to use him again and will recommend.

All round brilliant service
Absolutely brilliant with my slightly complicated move (including a piano and stairs and torrential rain) to Edinburgh and multiple addresses including interim storage. They did more than just move my stuff, handling the storage end for me and even closing off the account at the end. They were - wait for it - half the price of the first quote I got. First class service and really nice guys too. 100% recommended.
