We are a family business offering a highly professional service and advice with a trustworthy and friendly approach to the Edinburgh and Lothian areas.
Our small team consists of three fully qualified Gas Safe registered engineers. We are specialists in our field and provide quality, friendly service which includes the installation and maintenance of all household gas boilers, cookers, fires.
We also carry out installs & repairs on radiators, can install gas and pipe runs to new locations in your house and we also offer power-flushes to central heating systems.
We have standard pricing for services such as services and landlords safety certificates. For larger jobs such as installs and power-flushes we offer free quotes.
For those looking for new gas fires we can also help supply and advise on what options would work for your individual set up.

We needed to have a gas pipe moved under a hob, to allow a new cooker to fit. Adrian was incredibly helpful and was able to upgrade the gas pipe - upgrading to a proper size and relocating it expertly.
We did need some aftercare, as one of the joints needed tightening, but Adrian was able to come out within a couple of hours of calling, repair and test at no cost. He took the time to explain the procedure including the safety checks. We wouldn't hesitate to use him again for any gas-related works.

I arranged for a boiler service due to a lack of hot water, and was seen within a day. Richard got my boiler working again within 20 minutes, identified the fault, and returned the next day to fit a new part. Great service, lovely man. 10/10 all round.

After my fire service, the engineer wasn't happy with the gas pressure.
Another engineer came, did some tests and it was decided to contact the Scottish Gas Network.
Both engineers worked hard to find out what the problem was, and were very good at explaining to me what was wrong. The problem is now being investigated by SGN.
I can highly recommend DGS.

It was a pleasure doing business with this company. Sarah, who arranged for the installation of my new cooker (and removal of my very old one) could not have been more knowledgeable or helpful.

We had issues from the annual servicing of our boiler . This involved replacing old gas pipes and was not the easiest of jobs given how old our house is . Both Adrian and Blair were patient and professional in their approach. They were very clear in explaining what needed to be done.

Very short notice servicing of gas fire including removal of a dead bird. The office response was immediate and positive. Adrian, the friendly gas engineer, arrived within three hours, sooner than expected. He did a thorough job, explained what he was doing, gave some useful advice and cleaned up well when he had finished.
