I used Cedar to to renovate my new shop in the city centre. It was a top to bottom, strip out and refit of an aged building to make a modern shop with new, plumbing, electrics, joinery, decoration and some bespoke items too.

Throughout the job I was impressed with how little I needed to chase up, with Cedar giving constant, regular updates of works being done, what has been completed and what is coming next. I barely ever was left wondering what was happening with the job.

The quality of work was impressive and they did exactly what I asked for in the initial brief I gave them when starting. Where problems came up that required a change of plan they had excellent recommendations and made an effort to suggest solutions that fit with my vision for the renovations.

They made and extra effort multiple times to keep cost down for me when unforeseen circumstances arose and did their best to plan work to synergise with my other contractors. Given the nature and age of the building, unforeseen problems surfaced many times and Cedar were excellent in thinking on their feet to provide me with the best outcome, even when I wasn't there personally to confirm.

I would recommend Cedar to anyone considering any renovation or building work.

We employed Cedar to totally refurbish our kitchen. The results have exceeded our expectations and we were very happy with their workmanship. They were a good bunch of people to work with and they cleared up well at the end of the project.

Cedar carried out an all-trades, full kitchen, utility and office/snug renovation in our flat. The work included rewiring, floor sanding and decoration throughout, and opening up access from the kitchen out to the garden. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Professional but personal, they were a pleasure to work with and have on site at all times. They have a sharp attention to detail from initial contact to final snagging and nothing was too much trouble, going above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the final results. I would happily work with the whole team again, I just need to find the next project… :-)

Conversion of integral garage to bedroom and addition of accessible shower/hand basin in downstairs cloakroom.

All work was completed to a good standard. We were kept informed of progress and any unavoidable delays. All workers were polite and helpful and cleaned up after themselves.

Cedar Developments helped us to convert a shop unit to be used for a temporary arts/community project - stripping out existing units and structures and preparing the space for a new use. They were very good to work with and able to do the work at short notice and to a tight timeline.

Replaced and painted balcony. From first contact getting estimate to completion of complicated construction of balcony the company and their employees were excellent.
Work carried out in a clean and tidy manner with little disturbance to neighbours. Updated as and when necessary regarding their work schedule and absolutely delighted with finished product. Highly recommend.

Worked with Cedar to construct and outdoor office. The workmanship was absolutely first class and we’re thrilled with the end result. Also, the project management was excellent, we were kept informed of the timeline, any challenges and it was clear that the team really cared.

They came to paint the walls, change carpet and refurbish the kitchen. I didn't have to move out and they were really nice and professional. Couldn't be more glad with the result!

Cedar designed and constructed an adjacent outside terrace area to compliment the existing building. They were 1st class in all aspects and came in on time/ on budget and were a pleasure to deal with.

Cedar Developments undertook a complete overhaul of our 4 bedroom maisonette-this included reflooring most of the property, re configuring 2 box rooms, 1 became a bathroom and the other a dressing room and a separate study, lowering a ceiling, raising another, new kitchen fitted, new shower room, a damp course, decorating, fixing old sash windows and many other more incidental jobs. Joseph and his team completed all work in an utterly professional and diligent manner with great attention to detail. Communication throughout the process and customer care was excellent. Joseph has a very creative and clever way of looking at spaces and offers innovative ideas to make the most of any property. This company is superb and we would highly recommend them for any job required, be it big or small, they will complete it to a very high standard.
