We've had a brilliant experience with Kris and Capital Joinery, easy and professional to interact with, extremely high standard of work, excellent pricing and very reliable - highly recommend! They've worked with us on refurbishing large external doors in our listed building, adding bannisters and fire doors and some other smaller jobs - and they're also great at being respectful and thoughtful when completing work while customers are in the building.

Capital Joinery fitted the most marvellous set of nine alcove shelves, from floor to ceiling, in our tenement kitchen alcove (the former coal store), and also put in wooden facings around the rough doorway. Kris designed everything with great attention to detail, explained what our options were, and he and his colleague fitted and finished everything to perfection. The shelves have been heavily in use for three months now and there has not been any problem.

Replacement of outside wooden banister and railings at front-door steps. Contacted Capital Joinery, by email, for advice and an estimate. Kris replied within 24 hrs. After initial assessment of scope of work he quoted a reasonable price for the job and on acceptance he arranged a visit to take precise measurements. The work progressed smoothly and as agreed. Initially, I'd asked for a replacement which was similar to the original and Kris accomplished that - though he made some design improvements on the original layout which will make care and maintenance much easier in future. Very satisfactory.

Kris fixed up our old shed which had some rotten timbers needing replacing. He also replaced the lid on our log bin.

We are a nursery and needed 2 doors fixed quickly, Chris called and arranged a visit straight away and completed a temporary fix which he made no charge for. He then came back to do the proper job and the doors have been working perfectly since. I will definitely call Chris again whenever we need work done.

Main Door of property was not closing due to swelling of wood.This was causing a major security problem for the three flats. They were very professional and knowledgeable and completed the job within an hour.We were completely satisfied with the work.
