Needed a Dyson hoover repaired. Spoke to Billy in the morning, he picked the hoover up in the afternoon. Dropped it off 2 days later in mint condition. He observed social distancing and wore a mask.

Problem fitting a new oven element in my elderly mothers cooker (issues with spare
part fitting and access through back of cooker). Called Billy the afternoon before, and
with in 24hrs he arrived and fixed the element within 40mins. Especially impressed
with the way he conducted himself - so much so that he even tried to re-fit a door on one of my mothers kitchen unit despite him not being there to do it !!.

I contacted Billy of BR Domestic Appliances. We discussed on the phone the problem I was having with my washing machine. Billy advised that the most likely problem was to do with the drum bearings. He said that due to the age of the machine (10years) it would not be cost effective to replace these. Also that it would be unlikely he would be able to source replacement ones for my model of machine due to its age. I really appreciated his advice and that he also saved me £35 call out charge. I will certainly recommend and use BR in the future.

My washing machine was spinning intermittently. Billy quickly came to have a look and was able to open the filter which was jammed. Unfortunately this didn’t solve the issue but Billy happily came back on 2 further occasions to try and get the machine working. When my washing machine broke down my usual repair company couldn't come out til Tuesday, they gave me BR Domestic' s number, he came out same day and managed to repair my machine. Charged what he quoted over the phone and tied up when the job was complete. Very impressed, will use again!

Our 18mth old Bosch washing machine came up with an error code indicating that there was a leak.....this happened on Saturday morning at 9.30...I rang Billy at just after 10...and true to his word he arrived just after 1pm....he managed to have our machine up and running again in no time...we have used Billy in the past and we will certainly be keeping his number handy in case we need him again...thanks again Bill..enjoy the cakes .

The dishwasher in my tenanted flat had stopped working so I was looking for a tradesman who could have a look and see if it was worth repairing. I found BR Domestics (Billy) online and liked the reviews so asked him to call my tenants and arrange to have a look at it. He did this and said that the dishwasher was beyond repair (it was over 10 years old).
He advised that I bought one online and got it delivered to the flat and he would fit it and take the old one away. I emailed for a quote and Billy Rutherford got back to me that evening asking me to phone the following morning with more details. He informed me clearly of his charges and I couldn't believe that he came out the same afternoon and fixed it.
It turned out not to be the pump but just clogged up so it was just the call out charge. While here he set straight to work and was friendly and polite and had the job done in no time. Would definitely use him again and recommend to others.

My washing machine broke at the weekend and I e-mailed on Saturday night in the hope of getting a repair in the week. He impressed me by getting in touch on Sunday and repaired the machine on Monday morning.
He carries spares for many machines and arrived at the arranged time.
I had caused damage to the pipes when pulling the machine forward and Billy attended to these too. Excellent and great value for money!
