Blockages in old fireclay drain pipes - Tommy and his men dug out the old pipes which were in really poor condition and had been causing problems for a long time. The pipes were completely renewed with modern piping and one inaccessible area repaired with a modern liner. The soil was replaced and the monoblocs re-instated in other words a superb job, done quickly at a very fair price. I cannot speak highly enough of the expertise and hard work of Tommy, Russell and Connor a fantastic team.
My only DISAPPOINTMENT is that I can only award them a maximum of 5 stars.

Charlie and his assistant came all the way over to fife to jet out my drains clearing a blockage of toilet paper. They used their camera down the drains to check any issues and leave me reassured. Price very reasonable and Charlie was happy to answer any questions I had. Recommend.

Horrible blockage situation in the bathroom, shower and bath completely unusable, toilet itself making alarming noises. Suspected a visitor to the flat a week before had put Blitz paper towels down it. When things reached crisis point, I rang All About Drains after reading the very positive reviews here. Charlie came round this afternoon and cleared the blockage with some serious equipment and minimum fuss. The paper towels were to blame – those extra-strong blue ones that don't dissolve. He answered my questions in simple terms that I understood (it's a complicated plumbing set-up underneath a sealed, raised platform) and he has fantastic, in-depth knowledge of his subject.
This firm would 100% be my first port of call if the pipes get blocked again and I must add that the cost was extremely reasonable – and a lot less than I was charged a year ago by another firm for the same job. Very grateful to have a functioning bathroom again!

Pipes cleared between ground floor flat (which ends up with all the muck from the three floors above). As always they were quick to respond, communicative and efficient. Have used before, will use again. Great stuff.

Problem rainwater drain that was flooding into my home. 4 previous drain companies had jetted it but it would never fully clear. All said it was too awkward to get a camera down to resolve the problem. I kept spending money on jetting and not getting the problem solved. Heavy rain would end up overflowing and coming into the house again. That was until Tommy and his team quickly answered my call. They solved the camera problem with a lot of hard graft and digging. They also used tracing equipment and found the problem, dug and installed an access chamber and removed the blockage. Not only that they checked my other drains and lucky for me they did as those had serious problems too! I can’t express how grateful I am. They succeeded where all others failed. They were professional, timely, tidy, value for money and very understanding. They promised me they would resolve the problem and not quit the job (unlike others). Contacted at 10pm on Monday night to clear blocked outdoor drain. Tommy gave a quote that night and by 10am the drain had been cleared. Excellent service and would definitely recommend.

Our kitchen sink was draining very slowly. So I called All about Drains and the problem was discovered and fixed within three hours of first contact. If you have a drainage problem, call All about Drains. Knowledgeable, professional, efficient, tidy - all of that and more. Why go elsewhere?

Our upstairs toilet was not clearing efficiently. We were worried that there could be a blockage.
The response was quick and efficient. Tommy arrived at the agreed time. The problem (that the cistern was adjusted to flush at only 50% of full volume) was identified and easily sorted. A visual check of the interior of the waste pipe was also done at our request to assure us there was no blockage or weakness there. This inspection by camera involved the disconnection and reconnection of the toilet and was all done at no extra charge.
Our problem was solved, we were reassured and we were very satisfied with the service. We would recommend them.

I had a leak coming to my city centre tenement basement from drain lines above which plant roots had damaged. Tommy visited me and provided a professional quote within a day. After I approved it, his team were on site quickly. They dug out a hole around the drain pipes and replaced the pipework, then filled it in. However, after they dug the hole, they found an extra pipe which was also damaged, which I had not even considered would be there. They just fixed that too. Its like they quoted for the outcome of fixing the problem of my leak and did whatever was necessary to achieve that, as opposed to adding extras for anything they found. The staff doing the job were delightful to talk to, and they explained everything they were doing and answered any concerns I had with intelligent and insightful answers, leaving me feeling very confident. It was an absolute pleasure doing business with this company.

We had a sequence of problems, and All About Drains came out promptly each time. The second time involved putting in a patch on the drainage pipe, digging down to the pipe on the day before xmas - which was incredible. When a problem showed the third time, Tom came along to check himself which was much appreciated. But all of the guys from All About Drains were very responsible, and have all the kit to deal with a variety of problems. Wouldn't hesitate to use again - we highly recommend All About Drains!

I called All About Drains late on a Saturday evening; they were on site by Sunday lunchtime and had the problem fixed very quickly indeed; in the process, locating a drain access point whose existence I had never suspected. Later they returned to fit a cover to the access point, which will speed any future repairs / investigations.
I have no reservations whatever in recommending the services of Tommy and his team. If only there were more companies so skilled, professional and customer oriented as All About Drains.

I had 2 sinks which were draining slowly. All about drains diagnosed and fixed the problem within 45 minutes. Excellent work. Workmen were friendly, polite and obviously knew what they were doing. Would happily recommend and use again.

Tommy Rutherford has just been a delight to work with. Our situation is I was out of the country when the issue took place, with a 12 hour time different, but this was know problem for Tommy, he worked well and about the professional line to help in this situation.

I have just used Tommy's (of All About Drains) services for the second time. He carried out work on my behalf yesterday (12th March 2016); he provides a prompt service and knows his stuff. On this occasion he had to move a blockage caused by food waste and moved a pipe to improve the flow.
On the previous occasion he carried out work for me (August 2015), he repaired a clay pipe which had cracked underground, which was then getting blocked with debris causing standing water. He had to open up drain access points (which someone else had concreted over), and make these good, before flushing the whole drain system for all 8 flats in a block.

Tommy arrived promptly and as arranged. He obviously knew his stuff, and was able to sort out our drain problem quickly and efficiently, and was happy to take time to explain exactly what the problem was, how he was dealing with it, and what I could do to prevent the problem recurring.

If I was unfortunate enough to have another blocked drain I'd definitely contact him first.

I had a blocked rain down pipe. All About Drains responded to my message very quickly and came the following day. The blockage was quickly cleared by high pressure jet. I was pleased he checked to ensure it was properly cleared. Quick and pleasant to deal with.

Although in the end I didn't use their services as it turned out the problem wasn't to do with drainage, I found them very helpful and quick to respond. They were able to quickly locate the drain (which a plumber had been unable to do after an hour and a half at my property) and gave me good advice without charging for their time.
