AES (Scotland) Ltd are a long-established and trusted specialist in the design, supply, installation, servicing and repair of electric gates, automatic gates and automated access systems across Edinburgh, Fife and Central Scotland.
Established in 2003, we bring over 35 years’ combined industry experience, with extensive hands-on knowledge gained from delivering automated gate and barrier systems since the early development of the industry in Scotland. Our work covers residential, commercial and industrial properties, with a strong focus on safety, reliability and long-term performance.

We are extremely happy with our AES Scotland Ltd Trevorrick gates and can’t recommend Gordon Woods and his team highly enough. They were extremely helpful to us whilst selecting them, providing all the necessary plans and sketches for our Listed property planning consent and careful with the material selection; cast iron gates, galvanised and powdered black finish. An optimal finish for our coastal location. With only a short follow up visit a few months later to make some final adjustments these gates have worked splendidly ever since and are still much admired by all who see them.

We had the main electronic gates to our block of flats replaced. AES were reliable, punctual, efficient and very pleasant to deal with. Since then they have maintained a high standard of care with any maintenance issues that have arisen.

Great service from AES Scotland. They installed an automatic driveway gate for us several years ago and have been maintaining it ever since. Always good service and the gate iteself has worked well over the years, despite the best efforts of the Scottish weather.

We had electric gates installed 4 years ago. We are very pleased with the gates and have had no problems. We found Gordon and his team to be reliable, pleasant and hard working. We have the gates serviced annually by AES and again have been very happy with this service.

I have no hesitation in recommending this company for any work required. I will definitely be using them again for my next service and any other work that may occur.

Gordon Woods and his team installed new automatic steel framed wooden panelled gates for me over 5 years ago and they have worked very well since. We did have a couple of problems with storm damage and vandalism but after contacting Gordon he was quick to attend providing repairs and modifications to overcome these unforeseen issues and to return the gates to their faultless operation. I would recommend Gordon and his team at AES to anyone thinking about installing automatic gates.

AES proved to be prompt to respond to my initial enquiry and extremely helpful in discussing my requirements. The installation was carried out extremely efficiently and to a high standard. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the gates and workmanship and we hope to use AES again in the future for further improvements we have planned for our property.

Gordon and team from AES were fantastic. He built a large driveway gate and pedestrian gate at our property. Design was bespoke and executed well beyond our expectations. Build quality is solid and finish was excellent. Team were reliable turned up when they said they would, finished project on plan and on time. Am already considering additional projects with AES.
