We had both gates on our driveway and our garage door replaced by AES. The company were easy to deal with and Gordon took the time to listen to what we wanted and altered the proposed designs until we were happy with them.
While the wait for installation took slightly longer than expected we are very pleased with the result and the gates have been admired by friends and passersby alike.
We would highly recommend AES and would use them again should the need arise.

We had two side six foot gates fitted to a new build zinc house. The gates look as if they were part of the initial build rather than an add on as Gordon matched the colour exactly to our zinc by researching the RUL number … even our architect was impressed! The service was top quality at every stage ; knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and with superb technical skills and understanding. I would 100% recommended this company to anyone as you definitely will not be disappointed as it’s the best top quality product installed by true professional who take a pride in their work and it shows.

New Gates for driveway. Initial discussion was helpful to decide on materials and overall design and the subsequent quote provided quickly. Scheduled date for installation was adhered to and the job completed speedily and without disruption. All working surplus materials were removed when job was finished. We were delighted by the product and the service. We do not normally give reviews but are pleased to do so on this occasion.

AES supplied and installed a 5m wide telescopic sliding gate and a 1.2m wide pass gate plus associated controls and telemetry. They worked with to determine the most appropriate type of gate while working to our aesthetic and offered priced options to demonstrate best value. From the point AES arrived on site I found them to be highly professional, very well organised and worked to find solutions when the civils prep was not to their specification the result was a gates that exceeded our expectations. I would have no hesitation in recommending AES

I have electric gates which were not working properly and then stopped working altogether . After being let down badly by another company I gave AES (scotland) Ltd a call. Gordon came out to have a look and found the problem in minutes. The faulty parts were replaced and gates were serviced . I am delighted with the friendly and knowledgeable service supplied by him and will be using AES for any further repairs and annual servicing.

Working on high end and prestige car it's important that visually the look of our business refelcts the work we carry out, AES have achieved that and more. It's the first thing the customer sees as they approach our premises and something we think has made big difference to the look of business front.

Supply and installation of cantilever sliding gate onto prepared foundations. AES provided detailed drawings for the required civil works and installed the new gate on time. They have been servicing it for us since and it works without problems. It receives heavy use. We are discussing three additional automation mechanisms that we hope to proceed with over the next six months. Happy to recommend.

I would have no problem in recommending AES Scotland after their efficient service in the installation of a barrier at the entrance to our housing complex.
The initial meeting on site dealt perfectly with all the points raised and their advice on the type of barrier and costs that were involved. The whole barrier installation was completed in exactly the manner expected and there was much praise from the residents after installation.

We used AES Scotland Ltd (Managing Director Gordon Woods) to replace our building's pedestrian and driveway gates which had not been working properly for some time frequently requiring repairs. During the tendering process it became clear that Gordon was well qualified and knowledgeable to meet our requirements and he managed the whole process from presenting his proposals, arranging the dismantling and removal of the old gates and installing the new gates. The new automation equipment and re-programming of all entry fobs was handled efficiently and everything has worked very well since completion of the work. I would not hesitate to recommend AES.

AES fitted an aluminium side fence and gate at my property.
My experience with AES was very professional as they were reliable, always arriving when they said they would, and providing good suggestions and advice on their initial visit to quote. A sketch of the design was provided with the quote which really helped to picture what the finished article would be. The work was carried out to a very high standard, with the existing fence taken out, all debris removed and everything left clean and tidy.
I am delighted with the very good service and work, and would be happy to recommend AES.

AES came and repaired and serviced our two sliding gates after the company that put them in failed to find the problem. AES were responsive - arrived at the agreed time - identified the issue - repaired it. Wish we had used them in the first place to put in the gates originally. Highly recommend.

AES were appointed for the design, supply and installation of a new electric gate on a new build project in Edinburgh and we were extremely impressed by their professionalism throughout the process. AES had a great understanding of the numerous products available and seamlessly designed, supplied and installed a superb gate entry system of which our Clients were delighted with. AES (SCOTLAND) Ltd installed the driveway sliding gate and access control equipment at my property. The work was undertaken in 2017 and some two and a half years later, all is still working fine.
The installation itself was smooth and Gordon and Scott were just left to get on with things.
However, I had nearly placed an order for another gate design from a different supplier before I met Gordon and whilst he didn't say I shouldn't go for the other design he explained the pros and cons which changed my decision. I'm so pleased I went for the design we have which not only enhances the aesthetics of the property but is virtually maintenance-free which is a massive bonus.
No hesitation in recommending AES for similar works.

AES put up a ‘work of art’ gate at my residence and it has worked flawlessly since the day it was put up. All work carried out quickly, efficiently and with minimal disruption and mess. Servicing has also been kept up to date meticulously and i could not recommend the company more. I should state the price point is great too as i ended up with a lot more than i thought i would get for my money.

We are extremely happy with our AES Scotland Ltd Trevorrick gates and can’t recommend Gordon Woods and his team highly enough. They were extremely helpful to us whilst selecting them, providing all the necessary plans and sketches for our Listed property planning consent and careful with the material selection; cast iron gates, galvanised and powdered black finish. An optimal finish for our coastal location. With only a short follow up visit a few months later to make some final adjustments these gates have worked splendidly ever since and are still much admired by all who see them.

Gordon Woods and his team installed new automatic steel framed wooden panelled gates for me over 5 years ago and they have worked very well since. We did have a couple of problems with storm damage and vandalism but after contacting Gordon he was quick to attend providing repairs and modifications to overcome these unforeseen issues and to return the gates to their faultless operation. I would recommend Gordon and his team at AES to anyone thinking about installing automatic gates.

Gordon and team from AES were fantastic. He built a large driveway gate and pedestrian gate at our property. Design was bespoke and executed well beyond our expectations. Build quality is solid and finish was excellent. Team were reliable turned up when they said they would, finished project on plan and on time. Am already considering additional projects with AES.
