AES (Scotland) Ltd are a long-established and trusted specialist in the design, supply, installation, servicing and repair of electric gates, automatic gates and automated access systems across Edinburgh, Fife and Central Scotland.
Established in 2003, we bring over 35 years’ combined industry experience, with extensive hands-on knowledge gained from delivering automated gate and barrier systems since the early development of the industry in Scotland. Our work covers residential, commercial and industrial properties, with a strong focus on safety, reliability and long-term performance.

AES (Scotland) Ltd place strong emphasis on correct system design, safe installation and long-term reliability. All work is carried out by experienced engineers and completed with full commissioning and clear handover information.
We also provide ongoing servicing, maintenance and repair support, helping customers protect their investment and ensure automated systems continue to operate safely and reliably over time.

Wrought iron gate supplied & fitted. AES (Gordon) was great to deal with, prompt in replying to initial query, friendly when on site visit, and always available for any queries we had. The drawings supplied were clear & legible, again, where we had a query, this was answered, promptly. Really pleased, would recommend & will use again.

Excellent job carried out by AES. New security gates are of a very high standard and have been integrated into our existing access control system. I would highly recommend AES as a supplier for this type of service they provide good communication throughout and a fair price for the work.

I was advised what was best for my needs and the estimate was sent immediately.
Estimate had been carried out before lockdown.
I was informed during this time of any progress or not. Once business had started I was given a date and the work was done.
Very professional job, pleasant and friendly people with masks and gloves on using social distancing,
All work done quickly and no mess left over.
I love my finished gate .

Everything went to plan. From initial visit and detailed quotation through to the first day on site and finally the installation of our new electric gates, Gordon and his team turned up when they said they would, answered any questions quickly and worked exactly to schedule, tidying up as they went, and delivering an excellent product. I'd highly recommend them.

AES offers good old fashioned customer service and turn up and do exactly what they promise. We had Gordon create an electric gate that matched the design and construction of our stables. We are delighted with the end result and would highly recommend their services to anyone.

AES are excellent. After doing months of research I am delighted we chose AES to install our new gate. Our gate looks better than we ever imagined. AES supplied and installed a 5m wide telescopic sliding gate and a 1.2m wide pass gate plus associated controls and telemetry. They worked with to determine the most appropriate type of gate while working to our aesthetic and offered priced options to demonstrate best value. From the point AES arrived on site I found them to be highly professional, very well organised and worked to find solutions when the civils prep was not to their specification the result was a gates that exceeded our expectations. I would have no hesitation in recommending AES
