Dave rewired the electricity supply to the entry phone. He was quick to come out and we especially appreciate that he did in the corona virus climate. Thanks for an efficient and friendly service.

We emailed AEF to advise that we wanted to replace one internal light fitting together with an external sensor light. Dave emailed us back advising the date and time his team would be on site for the works to be carried out. They arrived on time, were professional and friendly, double-checked what we wanted done and started immediately. They tidied up at the end, making sure everything was working and we were happy before leaving. We are delighted with the jobs undertaken and our new lights are working great. Will definitely use AEF again and would highly recommend them to others.

We had an LED strip light installed in our hallway, which looks fantastic. We also had some other lights and switches moved or replaced. Dave came for an initial visit and made great suggestions including ways to reuse some of the fittings elsewhere in the house to save money. His team were prompt, efficient and very tidy making sure they cleaned up afterwards. Would definitely use AEF again.

Dave ensured that my enquiry was dealt with really promptly. Ben expertly fitted an oven which required to be hardwired to the mains. He arrived on schedule and was courteous and efficient. I will definitely use AEF again.

Dave was excellent with communication by email and phone. He and Ben were punctual and had things completed on time. They happily accommodated last minute changes and found a quick solution to a potential problem so that I got what I wanted.

Thank you for accommodating all my last minute changes, especially coming up with a fix for the dreaded wall light! I'll be in touch again for more work needing to be done in the future. And thanks to Ben as well - he was most considerate, tidy, polite and conscientious

This was the second time I have had work done by AEF as they did an excellent job the first time. Had to get light fittings and a fan checked after a flood and the response to have this done by the company was extremely quick. Light was replaced immediately and looks great. The electricians are most pleasant, highly professional and very efficient. Prices are also very reasonable. Would recommend this extremely reliable company without hesitation.

We needed the electrics in our flat tested and new sockets put in (as well as a few other odd jobs). The guys came on time, were very professional and helpful, and got the job done well in the time they said they would. They identified a couple of issues we hadn't known about and were great at explaining what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix it. Communication was excellent throughout and they left the place clean and tidy.

Will definitely use them again if we need any more work and recommend them highly :)

Moved into a property requiring new heating and lighting throughout. From the initial quote to the completion of the work, Dave and his team were incredibly well informed, friendly and incredibly professional. Since then I’ve recommended AEF Electrical to colleagues who have gone on to use them and have been very happy with the results and high quality of service.

New electric heaters installed which we had already purchased. Very nice company to deal with from providing the quote to installation. Turned up on time and very pleased with the work done. We would use them again for future work.

I had a small job involving spasmodic chirping of a smoke alarm. I am a 68 year old female living in a house with high ceilings & was unable to remedy the problem. AEF were so kind in prioritising this small but urgent ( for me) job. They were speedy, professional & courteous in replacing a CO alarm & fixing a heat alarm. I would have no hesitation in recommending them & would use them myself for any job in the future.

Dave has carried out several projects for me over the past five years, including completely rewiring our house.
He and his team are always reliable, honest, efficient and professional and I have no hesitation in highly recommending AEF.

AEF wired and installed a central ceiling spotlight bar in the kitchen (there was no central light previously ) and installed new lighting in the hall. The job was done very efficiently from start to finish - clear quote for the work, good communication in advance and Ben turned up when scheduled. The work is excellent - everything beautifully lined up and he did a very neat job of patching the holes made in the kitchen ceiling in order to run in the new supply. Everything tidied up afterwards and packing removed.

AEF Electrical Ltd were appointed to carry out a number of electrical works in our new flat. New sockets were fitted and existing sockets re-positioned as per the regulations, dimmer lights were fitted in all bedrooms and living room and AEF replaced our old fuse board. Prior to works commencing, AEF were very communicative, easy to deal with and were flexible in being able to complete the work within our tight programme - something which is always appreciated.
Whilst at our property, the contractors were prompt, tidy, efficient and personable. Additional items which we added into the scope of work were dealt with swiftly in order for the works to be completed when the contractors were on site.
AEF made the whole process very easy, from the initial consultation right through to the after care when works were complete.
I couldn't recommend AEF more highly and will definitely be in contact with them to complete associated electrical works on Phase 2 of our project.

We had the complete house interlinked-wired for smoke/heat/carbon monoxide detectors. This involved feeding wires from an un-floored attic space and also making use of infrared linkages as appropriate. The engineers were amazingly good and very professional - as one of the rooms we had to install a detector had just recently (1 week) been redecorated we were concerned about any damage - we were assured this would not be the case and this proved to be the case...a really nice job. As we have very high ceilings we were advised to also have two test pods installed inside a hall cupboard so that we could easily test all the detectors regularly - here too the engineers did a terrific job. Overall, an excellent experience and would highly recommend the company.

I have used AEF for a number of years . Adding external lights, putting in circuit breakers, checking wiring in a house move, emergency loss of all power to house ( they diagnosed external failure which was correct). Always speedy and professional. Good communication of problems and solutions.
