We absolutely love our garage conversion - a studio with an attached bathroom delivered by Impact. This was our first building project, and I'm extremely pleased with the results, all thanks to the efforts put in by the Impact team - they've truly made an impact!

We had a detached garage which we used for storing our bikes, but we always felt that we could put it to better use. We knew that a conversion would be a massive undertaking with arranging supply of running water, electricity, and drainage. Therefore, we sought a certified builder who could deliver a project up to building standards. I wanted to be involved in each stage of the project, from choosing materials to designing and specifying details. Since I lacked knowledge in this field, I wanted the builder to guide me throughout these decisions. After consulting with several building firms, we ultimately chose Impact for this project.

I took this project as a personal interest with input into the design, choosing fittings and material for the studio. Impact was readily available at every stage of the project, and I am grateful that they listened to my plans, even overruling some of my proposals. They handled it brilliantly, explaining things without making me feel that I’ve no clue what I’m talking about.

In the end, it took three times longer than expected and cost more than twice the budget I had initially planned. You might be wondering why I still rate them 5 stars. Building projects are unpredictable - you never know what's hidden behind a plastered wall or beneath a concrete floor. The only way to find out is by stripping the plaster and digging into the concrete. In a project of this scale, you're bound to encounter unexpected surprises that will throw you off, which is why you need a builder like Impact who will stand by you when the going gets tough.

We opted for a much higher specification of insulation for the building, significantly increasing the budget. However, we made this choice with the building's sustainability in mind.

To sum it up, if we were to embark on this project again, we may make one or two modifications in the plans. However, would we change the builder? No way - we wouldn't do this without Impact.

I had a 20+ radiator system flushed out at a third less expensive than a quote from another company AND they did it properly to a standard way beyond my past experience of the other company.

Excellent service from the Impact Glasgow team. Sabrina from the first phone call, Martyn to discuss our issues through to Callum the plumber on site. Everything went well and our bathroom leak was investigated, traced and sorted within an hour. I would use this company again without hesitation.

Martyn and Sabrina did a fantastic job with my bathroom! They took on a big job renovating and repairing my bathroom after a water ingress from a neighbour. Their communication and quality of work is second to none! Great work from them and I'll go back again if I need further work.

Work was done to a good standard and the fitters were always very professional. Very happy with the quality of the work and would recommend.

I called Impact when I had a water leak underneath my bath which had flooded the room below. Calum the plumber attended quickly, and located and dealt with the source of the leak, being very careful to cause as little damage as possible when doing so. This is the third time I have used Impact, and would highly recommend them.

Very professional experience with Impact. Once the Statement of Work had been drawn up, the Project Manager - Martyn - visited to give an outline of everything required, the timescales and what to expect when the work was being done before we agreed.
We were supplied with constant updates throughout the project by Martyn and looking at other reviews this seems to be the level of professionalism everyone else has experienced too. Can't recommend highly enough
