I had vinyl fitted in my bathroom. I really appreciated the quality of the communication running up to the date. The fitter was very friendly and helpful. The work is great, exactly as good as I’d expect. I am very pleased with the whole job. I thought the price was very good too.

After a mess up on my part, David did the job well and was done quickly and efficiently.

David, and his team, laid my livingroom and hall carpets, including underlay, across 2 separate visits - at my request. I provided those but from speaking to David at the measure, he would have been happy to source my flooring for me if I hadn't already bought it. Worth bearing in mind in you don't know where to start.

I think David was taken aback when he saw how much stuff (furniture) was in my livingroom - I'm a maximalist! - when he came to price but I asked if he could help by moving my 2 sofas, I assured him the room would otherwise be empty. His guys happily worked around my sofas, rather than take them from the room (I was short on storage space tbh) and still done an outstanding job. Just like my hall carpet, laid most recently, they worked cleanly, swiftly leaving only a well fitted carpet.

Fantastic. 5 stars all round. I contacted them during christmas and new year holidays. Arranged a date. They emailed the day before to confirm arrival time and was bang on time. Come in and job done. They put a couple of metal bars on for me as it would be a tripping hazard. I did have the bars but forgot them. Went above and beyond. I was not bothered about vinyl going into cupboard but they said its fine. We will do it. I will be using them again for both bathrooms in caravan. The price was fantastic for the job done.

I had David come in to re-carpet a room in my house that had been carpeted terribly by someone else. He did a fantastic job! David was quick and efficient and the new carpet looks amazing. I’m over the moon with the result.

We had an existing 6yr old bedroom carpet which was rucking badly, so we were concerned that the carpet would split and require complete replacement.

I approached David Gordon who promptly provided a cost estimate and timeframe to stretch & relay the carpet.

David & his colleague turned up on time and quickly identified that the existing carpet had been very poorly fitted, was not correctly cut to size, was missing areas of underlay and gripper rods.

David made the necessary repairs, trimmed & re-stretched the carpet, so it is all fitting perfectly now and will last for many more years.

David & his colleague were polite and helpful. The final cost remained the same as the estimate.

We are absolutely delighted with the carpet David fitted in our stairs and landing.

He was really easy to deal with - quick to respond to our initial enquiry and prompt with his quote. We opted for him to supply the carpet we picked as he was able to get a better price than the online suppliers.

David fitted a new vinyl flooring in our kitchen. The previous fitter (many years ago) had done a pretty poor job, so David had his work cut out ripping the old one up and flattening the floor! We had great communication from the start, and David was excellent at keeping us informed of when he was coming to give the quote/do the work etc. The finished job looks great, they tidied up after themselves and took everything away, all for a decent price. Will definitely use again when we replace our carpets.

It’s rare to find a supplier these days who responds to messages and turns up when they say they will! David was super helpful from start to finish, answering all my questions quickly and getting back to me quickly. David fitted my new carpet and underlay and the experience was flawless. He came to measure up very quickly after I first contact him, gave a very reasonable quote and fitted the carpet exactly when he said he would. The work is top notch. They did an amazing job and took away all the waste. I even ordered the carpet online and David let me have it delivered to him days before he was fitting it so I didn't have to carry it or store it beforehand. Amazing! Dave Gordon Carpet and Vinyl Fitter came to fit Flotex Vinyl in my hall today and I am just so delighted with the result. My flat had been badly damaged by a fire above and all my flooring had to be replaced. My insurance company replaced most of my flooring but I had to purchase the Flotex vinyl myself and get it fitted. I am a wheelchair user so need the Flotex vinyl to be securely glued to the floor. After contacting several traders and being let down many times I eventually found Dave Gordon!! The communication was excellent. I felt confident he knew what the job involved and he gave good advice. The quote was extremely reasonable given the work involved. I had an appointment within a week! He arrived on time with his assistant. The guys were thorough, efficient, did not stop until job was done and tidied up afterwards ! I cannot praise these guys enough, happy. friendly and very professional, would definitely recommend them. AMAZING!! Thanks so much, so relieved to have my hall completed and looking so good!!

I was recommended David through a friend. He came to do a vinyl and carpet. Done fantastic work so I then asked him at a later date to finish the rest of my home. Which were carpets throughout and 1 more vinyl. Jobs have all been pristine every time. Reasonably priced and great quality. Would highly recommend him and his company.

We recently had a built-in wardrobe fitted. In advance, David’s team lifted the carpet and underlay. They then returned when the wardrobe was in place and re-fitted the underlay and carpet around it. They were very professional and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend David and his team.
