i-Protech installed solar panels and battery storage for me. I have used them before for an EV car charger around 18 months ago which I am also very happy with.

I wanted to have micro inverters for each individual panel which is the first time they have installed them. Everything was handled very professionally from start to finish which took just over two days. House was left clean and tidy at the end of each day by Rob and Maciej who were very pleasant. The standard of the installation is very high and neat.

I would use i-Protech again and recommend them for this type of work.

We had our Sigenergy battery and Aiko solar panels installed by i-Protech and are extremely pleased with both the service and workmanship. From the start, the team was professional, detail-oriented, and easy to work with—they honestly exceeded our expectations.

The installation wasn’t the most straightforward due to our house layout, and we requested that most of the wiring be hidden. Despite the added challenges, the team handled everything with care and never cut corners—even though the job took longer than initially planned. The final handover was impressively thorough. Key documents and user guides were laminated, and they even included a custom-designed USB drive with all the relevant soft copies—thoughtful touches that show the pride they take in their work.

I-Protech installed and commissioned a Solar/PV system comprising 14 PV roof panels, inverter, battery storage and generation meter with remote tablet generation tracking monitor. The property was initially surveyed by an I-Protech renewables co-ordinator, the installation operation, process and options discussed. This and proceeding e-mail communications allowed me to identify what system to select, what to expect from the system, clarity on cost, contract details and other clarification question responses. Establishing a clear contract of service took more time than I had expected but my communications with the I-Protech co-ordinator on this matter were rapidly responded to and addressed. I also visited the Company office where I was able to discuss final clarification questions before agreeing and committing to the system installation. The system installation took place over three days commencing with electrician work to install battery/inverter system on the first day, followed by roofer panel installation the following day (with additional electrical work), final electrical hook up, commissioning and system explanation taking place on the final third day. All work was carried out professionally, efficiently and with care. I had at the time of initial survey raised the fact that my roof had been treated and coated with acrylic tile protection paint and questioned if this might pose an issue to panel system installation. On arrival the roofer had some anxiety about this and the potential for tile breakage during installation, especially as the roof tiles were old and no longer manufactured. However, I-Protech immediately responded by sourcing 40 tiles of the same type from a second hand source in the event of tile breakages. The work was carried out with care and no actual tile breakages ultimately reported so that none of the contingency tiles needed to be used. The system has been operating well since installation. I have had zero requirement to import any electricity from the grid and between 70-80% of the generated electricity has been available to export to the grid.

I had a roof solar panels and batteries installed by iProtech, my point of contact was Chay. From my initial enquiry Chay guided me through the whole what we need / don’t need process to ensure the system worked for us. His knowledge and guidance was invaluable. All options were discussed along with the pros and cons, the original proposal was adjusted to meet our needs, and any queries were quickly answered. All work carried out on time and efficiently.

We built a new house at the top of a hill which due to the cost of connection to the grid, is totally off grid. We have a large array of solar panels with a back up generator powering batteries. This is all very new technology and as such there have been a couple of glitches which have been immediately rectified by the cheery, helpful staff from I protech.
