Allan and his team did an excellent job replacing our roof . They worked in conditions below zero. The men were very respectful and did a grand job tidying up when the work was complete. We had Allan and the boys fit a new roof to our small tenement building on Anniesland Road in Glasgow.
I met Allan for the first time on Friday 9th of March this year.
My neighbours and I were pretty much dreading getting our roof done, as we thought it would drag on and on for weeks.
Allan told me when I met him on the Friday, that the scaffolding would be going up the following day, and if the guys couldn`t finish erecting the scaffolding on Saturday, they would be back first thing Monday morning. That all happened exactly as Allan said it would.
8 am Monday 11th Scaffolders were back, and an hour or so later, all the scaffolding was up.
Tuesday 12th, Guy came to hang the chute.
Wednesday 13th 7.45 am, Allan and the boys arrived in force. Happened to just look out the window, and their vehicles were all lined up outside. 8 am, they started work, and my neighbours and I had never seen anything like it!
By the end of day one, all the old roofing material was off and in the skip, and having inspected the Sarking, the membrane and ridge tiles were on.
Thursday 14th, heavy rain. Bucketed down all day, but the guys were still up the scaffolding cutting down the guttering.
Friday 15th. Roof tiles delivered, and going on. After the guys finished work on Friday, I got a call from Sharon in their office. They wanted to come back on Saturday, would that be okay? It was.
By the end of the working day on the Saturday, all the new tiles were on the roof.
Guys returned Monday 18th, (morning), fitted our new guttering, and by lunchtime our new roof was finished.
The nightmare my neighbours and I had been anticipating, turned out to be a stress free breeze, thanks to Allan and his team.
I didn`t even have to clean up.!

I had the tiles on my roof replaced and a new velux window installed. They sourced the window for me and suggested options.

I had a complete roof replacement done by TFR about one month ago. The roof was stripped back to the joists and completely rebuilt. I have had a lot of building work done at my property over the years and I would say this company is by far the best contracting company I have ever used. Alan and his team are polite, mannerly, very hard working and very skilled at what they do. I got three quotes for the job and the TFR quote was the most competitive by a significant margin. The job was done in two weeks as per the quote and they carried out some small extra work for me without charge. They also left the scaffold in place for me for a few extra days to allow me to do some painting. They recycled all the material from the old roof and they left the site immaculate at the end of the job. They also worked very carefully and made sure that no debris from the old roof sheeting fell into the attic space. I would really struggle to find any fault in what they done and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to any one. In summary, I think you will find it difficult to find a more professional, competitive, accommodating roofing company in the central belt of Scotland

Roof-tile replacement and associated works such as fitting uPVC trim were carried out. The works took place on the timescale that had been indicated at the time a quote was provided. Everything was done safely, neatly and efficiently. Throughout the works I was kept informed of progress and nothing was taken for granted. The grounds were left in a clean and tidy condition on completion. I am very happy that I chose TFRS for this work and would definitely recommend them.

Reroofed and fitted facias soffits and dry verge, Allan was a great guy to deal with, his squad were very professional and hard working in all weathers
