William Kennedy Plumbers Ltd swopped two rooms around completely. Created a laundry cupboard, fitted a sun tunnel and skylight window. Overall transformed the living space.

William Kennedy Plumbers Ltd have just undertaken the revamping of our kitchen and tiny second bedroom space and have transformed it into a beautiful new kitchen and a fantastic dining room/bedroom. The changes made have been remarkable and have provided us with great usable space. From a concept idea in our heads to the reality achieved it has been brilliant. Hugh and his team were tidy, respectful of our property and delivered a great result within the agreed timeframe. Another fantastic job undertaken by William Kennedy Plumbers Ltd for us.

Replace kitchen worktops, sink and gas hob I cannot recommend William Kennedy plumbers. Highly enough. The job was carried out to a high standard. Also, they are very reliable. They call when they say they will! Quite a rare attribute today. Would use their services again.

Plumbing work to main bathroom & ensuite bathroom William Kennedy Plumbers Ltd are a very professional company who clearly employ quality trade people to work for them. We have had works undertaken in both our main bathroom and our ensuite - all jobs have been completed in a timely fashion and to a high standard. From start to finish it has been a refreshingly good experience to deal with such a great company. All of the plumbers who came to our home were respectful of our property and I would highly recommend William Kennedy Plumbers Ltd of Ayr.

The latest work that Wm Kennedy did for us was to put underfloor heating through our kitchen and into back living room. It turned out to be a bigger job than first thought as we had no insulation under the floorboards. The team from Kennedy’s carried out all the work to a very high standard and we have nothing but praise for every member of the team who was here. The rooms were left in a clean and tidy condition each night and there was no disturbance in the rest of the house. I would not hesitate in recommending them. We have previously had new boilers fitted and two new bathrooms including a wet room. On each occasion it was the same high standard

I moved in November 2018 from a modern bungalow to a McCarthy & Stone flat. It has very high-spec fittings but the heating system belongs to the days of white meters: severely scalding water in the morning and lukewarm for the dinner dishes, and lots of kWh wasted.
A slightly dripping tap and a damaged flush button inspired me to ask Kennedy to send an engineer to make the repairs and to review the prospects of installing a 12kW instantaneous water heater in place of the massive Pulsacoil. I had had very good experience of Kennedy’s in the bungalow so I didn’t go looking for anyone else. The plumber came next morning, fitted a superb flush unit and made a thorough study of the hot water situation, taking many photos, discussing them on the phone with the estimator and showing me all that would need to be considered if a 12kW unit was required.
On 24 August John Hewitson phoned with an estimate for a 12kW heater which would satisfy all the requirements and clear all the problems. Three days later the electrician arrived to set up the wiring. I had expected that a joiner would need to come first to remove some shelves but the electrician removed them himself. The plumber came later with the new unit which they set up together then the electrician left and two helpers brought a trolley to take away the Pulsacoil, then the plumber with one helper spent the rest of the day removing the redundant pipework and connecting the heater, and the taps and shower, to the mains input. The plumber finished by taking photos of the floor which had been exposed by the removal of the Pulsacoil, for the joiner to lay a floor and wall boards to cover all the piping in that area then restoring the shelves in the new situation.















I chose William Kennedy because I had been thoroughly satisfied with three jobs that they did for us in our bungalow. I was a very experienced DIYer but we needed a professional when the flush in the bathroom failed. I had seen William Kennedy vans around so I phoned them: an engineer came immediately, discovered and explained the cause and fixed it. I was well pleased with the price. Later the flush in the en-suite failed and I got the same good service again.
In September 2018, two months before I removed to here, the shower in the en-suite died. I phoned: an estimator arrived within an hour. I got the estimate the next day then the next morning an engineer arrived at 08:35 and departed at 10:05 leaving the new shower working and everything cleared up and spotless.
So when I wanted work here I didn’t consider anyone else.
Every one of William Kennedy’s specialists was considerate, ready with explanations, meticulous about cleanliness and cleaning up, and conscientious about Covid precautions. I should be very happy to have them back for any future work, and to trust John Hewitson’s advice and estimates. I would not be looking for anyone else

helpful and made suggestions concerning layout etc.
Lockdown due to Covid 19 delayed start for over 4 months but well worth
the wait. Spectacular improvement in Kitchen due to the quality of the
workforce and chosen appliances.

Leaking water First class trouble shooting,part ordered. Alex and staff all great to deal with. Kennedy is only the one company we would have.

Water leak. Found problem ordered part, in progress next week. Alex found problem, did temporary fix,ordered parts. Very professional service. Would never have any company but W Kennedy in our home. They renewed our central heating last year,first class job and we saved £300 on heating bills 2019.

Extension including kitchen/diner and shower room, skylights, all fittings and fixtures. We chose William Kennedy to do our extension as their quote was reasonable compared to others, their reputation and after speaking to a couple of their previous clients. We had a full quotation and regular updates, proper VAT invoices and Mr Kennedy was very good at meeting us at regular intervals to keep us informed. The whole team worked really well together and we honestly could not have wished for a nicer, more hardworking team. The joiner gave us some brilliant suggestions for the kitchen as he was building it, which have made a difference to the overall look and use of the kitchen. The shower room is such a good size. The extension has made a huge difference to how the back of the house was designed and used. We love it. They made the back of the house secure and blocked off which kept the mess confined! Fully trustworthy with keys to come and go.

2. Dismantling fitted wardrobe in adjoining bedroom which included moving power points and fitting new radiator.
3. Fitting new electric shower in main bathroom. This work was done by an extremely efficient company. They were a pleasure to have working in the house; always very punctual in the mornings and all very professional. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company as I already have.

Everything was done to a high standard, with friendly helpful staff on the phone to our plumber who was just fab. No mess left, in fact I wouldn''t have known he''d been there, he even put my furniture back in the right place for me. Would definitely recommend

Replace gravity water hot water and heating system with combi boiler and installing new radiator. Removing all old system flushing system and installing flue to roof clearing up work areas and testing system. We had two days of STRESSLESS work carried out. No problems from start to finish.
Darryl and Ross were the two best and very nice men we have had in 25 years in this house. No reason to look around for work like they do, this company has it all.

Remove old oilfired boiler, then replace with new. Excellent work all around. Heating now working well in house. Good to see apprentices employed by firm.

Boiler breakdown. Fit new solenoid switch and magic eye. Very reliable and helpful. Always come out immediately or as soon as possible after I phone for help.

Excellent engineers. The best. Fully confident that my boiler is in excellent hands.

Identify problem with power shower. Supply and fit new pump. I did not ask for quotation. I have used this company before and trust them.

We had an entire house to sort. Mr Kennedy was patient, sympathetic and immensely helpful. We had used the firm before in our previous house and had no hesitation in using them again for a much bigger job.

They checked the heating, moved radiators, removed fireplaces, half a kitchen, layers of flooring (thank you Hugh) and all the rubbish that entailed.
