Radbury Double Glazing

Installation of 2 large double glazing units. Radbury Double Glazing are a local South Ayrshire company based in Prestwick.
This is the first time I have had occasion to use the company and I am delighted with the excellent quality and workmanship shown during the installation and cannot speak highly enough of Stef and James (both fantastic tradesmen) who were courteous and informative throughout the whole process. They were meticulous in ensuring both rooms were spotless at the completion of the installation.

I would recommended Radbury Double Glazing every time.

Replacement front door and fanlight. I chose the palermo solid door from the palladio range in red with red frame. I was back and forward to the showroom a few times before deciding on that particular door and gold letter box and gold lever handle. It suits my older type terraced property as its a solid attractive door. Staff were great from start to finish and showed me examples of doors online and in the showroom.
The door fitter made an excellent job of fitting and reframing the door as its an older building and walls are not entirely straight. He seemed to be a perfectionist.


The one thing I do not like is the white hinges and silver screws against the black panel when the door opens. I am inclined to leave my door open through the day so it''s the first thing that catches you eye.

Fit new Double Glazed Windows and Composite Door to Front Elevation Lesley and team from Radbury could not have been more helpful during the whole process and we never felt under any pressure. We were given good advice around the Window & Door types available and lots of information and help around what types of glass/window to choose. They also supplied various samples to help us decide colours and were on hand to deal with any questions we had.

They kept us updated while waiting for the installation and the onsite team did a fantastic job with no mess left behind and everything finished to an incredibly high standard. Coming from me, that is a huge compliment as I am an absolute perfectionist.

We would be more than happy to recommend them as the perfect fit for new Windows and Doors and anything else to do with Glazing improvements.

Replacement of double glazed windows and patio doors and an emergency exit door on the clubhouse of a community sports club. Radbury Double Glazing were very attentive from start to finish in terms of visiting the site, providing a detailed quotation, agreeing and sticking to the installation timeframe and completing the job. In particular the installation crew were very efficient and attentive and left the premises as clean as when they started with all waste materials being taken off site every evening.

The standard of workmanship was second to none such that the finished installation has greatly enhanced the look and insulation standard of the building.

Our only point of criticism would be that the installation crew turned up an hour later than expected on the final day, an issue that could have been prevented with a simple phone call.

But overall Radbury Double Glazing did a great job and were competent and professional to work with.

Two double glazed windows replaced. Chris & Doug arrived when they said they would! Very professional and tidy, the work was done to a very high standard! Would highly recommend.

New back door with cat flap fitted. Door is very good quality and fitted well. Job was carried out quickly as I was going on holiday. Finish is perfect.

Measure, removal of existing window, install of new windows Having had experience of Radbury before I had no hesitation of using them. The fact they are local and give a personalised service is so important.

I first contacted Lesley who arranged the installer to come and do a measure. They arrived when they said they would and were very courteous in our home,

Karina contacted me promptly with the details and costings and was great at come back to me with any questions I had.

During the install Dougie was very friendly and made a great job on the install.

Lesley followed up along with Jan and Karina to make sure we were happy. The personal service you get at radbury is fabulous.

Replacement of 16 double glazed windows I cannot recommend Radbury Double Glazing highly enough.

Having suffered the ''hard sell'' from other double glazing companies, dealing with Radbury was the exact opposite: straightforward, no pressure, no "sign up tonight and we''ll give you a discount", just really nice people who did what they said they''d do. And all at an extremely fair price.

Even when we had an illness in the family and we couldn''t commit to going ahead at that point, they put us under no stress whatsoever; they were happy to wait until we got back on an even keel, which we did.

Every single person we dealt with was first-class, and a credit to the company.

I had the misfortune to have both my front door locks break at the same time. Radbury came out to see me the same day I called, and were able to search for an fit an older style lock within 2/3 days securing my property. They also expedited a new interior door within 3 weeks from order to fitting. Radbury went above and beyond to assist me, and all staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They came on time each time they visited, and left no mess. I would not hesitate to recommend them for both quality and professionalism.

Had new inner door and glass put in . They had a cancellation gentleman came with in half an hour he was very professional polite and chatty he also cleaned up after himself and explained an invoice would be sent to me soon .I would highly recommend using Radburys

Replace window and seals in conservatory. Professional service with helpful staff, no hard sales calls after enquiry.

Replaced old worn-out aluminium windows and wooden doors. From the beginning of Derek coming to our home,we felt comfortable with our conversation and after our visit to the factory, meeting other staff members made us realise we made the right choice, as we had quotes from other local companies.
Our expectations were high and they were surpassed, seeing the quality of windows and doors, when fitted they looked wonderful. Friends had nearly driven passed as the house looks so different.(greatly improved)
James and Stef worked well together, did a great job, they were friendly
also we have never known tradesmen to leave the place so tidy. Duncan came out to inspect the completed work and to find out if we were satisfied with the outcome, he was also very pleasant and helpful when speaking with my husband about other work we will be doing in the future.
Radburys was recommended by several people, but we went through the usual of getting three quotes and we decided for ourselves.
We have not completed working on the house and we will definitely be going back to Radburys.

2 new windows and front door Used radbury before and would recommend them ro others and would use them again.

Replacement front bay window Very pleased with new bay window. Very efficient fitters who were extremely tidy.Kept the existing woodwork and not a mark on it. Also the quality of the windows compared to price as Radburys were also the cheapest quote. The previous windows were also from Radburys - 30 yes ago - so obviously stand the test of time!

fitting double glassing through out my home radury were very professional all way through the whole process the lads that done fitting were spot on.

We had a new Palladio Composite door with side panels installed by Radbury Double Glazing Ltd.
They had previously fitted our French doors in the new extension at our property.


Derek and his team where fantastic from start to finish, his fitters are so well mannered and clean. they made no damage, and the finish was outstanding.

When we when to the Head Office to pay. we met Lesley the Company owner who was absolutely Lovely and very friendly.

Removal of back and front doors to house. Installation of new doors plus glass panel in front door too. The doors and glass panel were fitted expertly by the fitters. The men were excellent throughout the time showing professionalism in their work and in conversation with us.
Old doors and glass were removed from the house and after installation of new doors, all debris was cleared up. The hall and kitchen were left spotless.

First class service and doors look beautiful. Will certainly be recommending your firm to friends and family.
