Nine seperate cutting down jobs in Mum''s garden, including reducing height of established trees and shrubs and cutting down and removing several small trees. Would highly recommend Archie Harkness and his team. Excellent service, came and looked at the job, priced it very reasonably then arrived when he said he would and got on with the job. Very professional and kind to my 94 year old Mum, worked hard and efficiently and did a fantastic, tidy job.

Removal of a very large conifer in the front garden that was higher than our two storey house and advice regarding other items in the garden.
After moving house I contacted Archie for advice regarding a large conifer and various other trees.
I received the advice and the quote for conifer removal promptly.
On requesting Archie’s services he arrived on the day agreed promptly with a co-worker.
They used the necessary safety equipment to remove the very tall tree.
They left the area tidy and cut and stacked all logs we could use in our log burner in a manageable fashion.
My Neighbour''s commented on what friendly gents they had been.
Following completion of the job Archie text to say there was less to remove than expected for waste disposal and reduced the cost slightly.

Removal of three medium conifer trees from front garden (including stumps). Reduction of two very large overgrown conifers by around 3m. Removal of all waste. Superb, friendly and professional service. I actually called about another tree in the back garden needing work. Arranged to come and quote within a couple of days. Arrived exactly as promised.

Very knowledgeable and actually advised us it was the wrong time of year to cut the one in the back garden. Discussed the various trees needing attention and gave us a suggested plan of when the work should be done. Quote was in my email next day and for the amount of work involved, I thought was very reasonable.

Phase one on the conifers was this week. Contacted me to arrange as agreed and arrived bang on time. Work was done exactly as discussed and all waste removed - even the leaves blown off the lawn.

If only every tradesperson was as reliable. Absolutely recommended.

Removal of 5 branches from two large trees.

Waste was left with us which reduced cost. Archie was great at communicating when he would arrive for both the quote and job. He and his team were very efficient and left the branches neatly piled as requested.

Trees at the button of my garden needed to be cut down to a manageable height. Archie arrived when he said he would he came with all the tools required to do the job safely.
Archie took away the branches and cut the trunks to smaller sizes so that they could be removed as well. There was no mess left and I was delighted with the standard of the work.

To reduce height of silver Birch tree in rear garden and remove overhanging branches. Archie provided an excellent service from initial contact through to completion of work.
He also reduced the original quote by £20 as the work was not as extensive as he first thought. A very honest individual and one I would whole heartedly recommend.
