Edinburgh Trusted Trader Application Process
Scheme overviewAll applicants will be by Edinburgh Trading Standards Officers.
Once vetted, traders details will be added to the Trusted Trader directory, giving the potential to reach more than 225,000 Edinburgh households. fully vetted
There is an annual fee of £240 including VAT, which is fully refundable if an applicant fails to meet the scheme's requirements. This covers the vetting process, marketing of the scheme to residents as well as dispute resolution.

You will require about 10 minutes to complete the online application. If you get called away from your computer, your application will remain open for up to two hours, allowing you to resume on your return.

been removed or suspended from any Trusted Trader or similar scheme or from any trade body?
No been removed or suspended from any Council contracts or list of suppliers, anywhere in the UK?
No traded under any other name or been involved in the management of any other business?
No had any Sheriff Court decrees or County Court Judgements (CCJs) made against you?
No been declared bankrupt/insolvent or entered into any form of Trust Deed or individual voluntary arrangement (IVA)?
No had any adverse dealings with HMRC over your taxes?
No in any way been involved in the blacklisting of workers or treated anyone differently due to trade union membership?
No had any other formal action taken against you (e.g. ASBO, Enforcement order)??
