Had Chris and Carlos from Spartan Electrical working in our house in tranent,

The two showed up on time and were keen to get stuck in-

New sockets faceplates throughout the property aswell as switches.
New pendant and fittings
And installed our new cooker hood and surround.

Cleaned up and left leaving the house immaculate.


Price was agreed beforehand and the job ran smoothly.

Best tradesmen I’ve worked with by a long way. Highly professional and accurate with timings- got a quote out to us the same day they visited. Quality of work superb (some very ingenious ways of getting plugs in strange places...) and easy to liaise with. Could not recommend more!

We had an EICR carried out in our contact centre. The price was competitive and less than a previous company's price 5 years before. Carlos and Chris were prompt and kept me updated on any fails and what remedial works would need carried out.
We had one fail that was an emergency and the part was ordered and fitted before the end of the day so we could restart our servers.
The quote for the remedial work arrived the next day and works will be completed this week. All in all a very smooth job.

I contacted Spartan Electrical as I wanted to replace my pendant light in hallway with some downlights. One of the best service I ever had, Carlos and Chris showed me all the different options and they gave me some advice of how many downlights would be more convenient to install. Then, they came to my house and they completed the job to a very high standard, cleaning and tidying everything after them. Now I can see what I am doing when I walk into the house. If you are looking for electricians, Spartan Electrical definitely worth a shout.

Chris has been my electrician for many years and has never let me down. He is always polite, punctual, flexible and meticulous in his work. He seems to have a very good work ethic and is always happy to help and advise his customers. I appreciate that he will always be honest about what is required, whilst doing his best to accommodate this within my budget. He will always persevere to complete the work in a timely manner, without compromising on the finished result. His attention to detail and tidiness is second to none and he will always put safety first.

Originally Chris came to fit an extra socket in our new build property and some internal lights. He quickly discovered that our builder hadn't completed our circuit correctly and in fact some of the sockets were not safety approved. We followed his recommendations and contacted our builder and they returned to rectify the problems. Had Chris not picked this up or mentioned it, it would have been a costly problem for us to fix in the future.

Since Chris and Carlos joined forces and established their business together, "Spartan Electrical", the quality of work and reliability has not wavered. Despite being very busy, they always make time for their regular customers as well as accommodating new ones. They make a great team and almost seem to complement each other, as business partners should. They also seem to enjoy their work and each other’s company which makes for a really nice experience for the customer.

As a regular customer, I know I can rely on Chris and Carlos to always give 100% and in turn I get amazing quality and a service that is incomparable.

Outstanding service! Spartan Electrical did the full rewiring of our new flat, a fuseboard upgrade and the installation of all the lights and couldn't be happier that we finally decided to go with them. Chris and Carlos are a very pleasant lads and really know what they are doing, they did an amazing and clean job, gave us the best advise on how to reach the full potential in our house, very fast and effective and honestly, very competitive prices, I only have good words for them! Now we are thinking about redoing our kitchen and no doubt we will again give them a call, a pleasure to have met these superstars.

Really happy with our Emergency Light testing. Carried out with the least disruption to the business. The lights that failed were quickly priced , ordered and fitted. Will definitely be using them again when our EICR is due this month.
