Business Information
My name is Michael, with 18 years experience I have gained knowledge in many different aspects of electrical installations.
From domestic installs and fault finding to large industrial rewires and stadium floodlighting including Scotland's national foodball stadium Hampden park.
I have been fortunate to have such a great variety and this has given me the confidence and determination to take on even the most challenging of tasks.
I consider myself hard working, reliable and focused. Customer satisfaction is very important to me, where others may find issues we at MCE look for solutions.

I couldn’t be happier with the work done by Michael Coyle. He installed 2 external lights+ replaced 2 bathroom ones. Also re-wired living room spotlights, earthed a gas pipe, and safely isolated some old wires. Everything was completed quickly, professionally, and with great care. Highly reliable and efficient—definitely recommend!

It was only a small job that needed doing to my towel radiator that had stopped functioning seemingly without any reason. Mikey identified the problem and then fixed it. Communication was good, showed up on time every time. Reasonably priced compared to other electricians. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again for any jobs in the future, he puts you at ease instead of tying your stomach into knots that most tradespeople do.

We have used Mike several times now as he is so good! He is not only friendly but trustworthy. Even after he had a horrific family emergency, he turned up at our home the next day, as planned, and carried on as if nothing had happened. We will definitely be using him in the future and would happily recommend to anyone else. Thanks Lynne

I cannot recommend Mike highly enough. He has undertaken several small projects for me in my new home. The work has been completed to a very high standard, with no mess left to clean up.

I have used Mike for various electrical works - relocating lights and plug sockets, wiring a wall-mounted tv, removing wiring for an alarm system and generally tidying up wiring in an older property. Communication was excellent from start to finish, all work carried out efficiently and everything left tidy. Additionally, Mike has always been very responsive and has helped out at short notice with unexpected matters. Highly recommend.

I contacted Mikey through a recommendation of someone I know, from first phoning him the communication was great. I needed PAT testing, an EICR test and light fitting replacement for my salon. All was arranged for suitable times, and while in salon he also informed me of further requirements needed for the fuse box. Again, this was arranged promptly and work carried out efficiently, cost of work was also very reasonable.

I originally got Michael to help fit some lights for my elderly mother and the work was done so well we got him round again to do outdoor cabling too.
My mum is quite nervous around strangers and Michael was very understanding about that and very respectful of her needs.

Relocated light fittings in several rooms and altered switches. Excellent job. Worked quickly and tidied up. Trustworthy, reliable and reasonably priced. We would use Mike again and have recommended him to friends and family.

I had Michael out to install a new electric shower and fit new downlights, and I honestly couldn’t fault a single thing. He was punctual, polite, and clearly very skilled at what he does.
The shower was installed quickly and to a high standard, and the downlights have really modernised the room, they look fantastic. Michael kept everything tidy throughout the job and explained everything clearly, which gave me complete confidence in his work.

I have had lights fitted outside and inside my house he was very efficient and tidy he also changed sockets in kitchen all completed for price given so I'm happy to recommend and wouldn't hesitate to use in future

Michael fitted down lights in the kitchen and a LED strip in my bathroom that always gets huge compliments. He was efficient, reasonably priced, skilled and cleaned up after himself. He was really friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend, and hire him again.
