Manus Joinery

Iain came to our house to lay flooring in the living room , dining room hall and kitchen. He also installed new skirtings and architraves. Iain was on time, and very hard working . He exceeded our expectations and we are delighted with the work. Will definitely be asking him back for other works to be done . 10/10.

Iain carried out great work on our front door, we’re really happy with the result. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely use Iain again for any joinery jobs.

I asked Iain to build some custom floating shelving for my office. I also asked him to finish off a couple of tricky jobs I had left over in my refurbishment.

* make a wood surround for my hearth tiles
* install a floating oak mantlepiece
* install a sliding door and making a pelmet
* install a clothes drier in a not particularly solid ceiling

Iain was happy to work with my ideas and suggest practical solutions. His work was of a high quality. He worked quickly and cleanly, was professional in all dealings and seemed a really nice bloke to boot.

Ian Mannus built window seats, a bar, a pew, a fitted cupboard and a secret door for me at The Watchman Hotel in Gullane.

We used Iain’s services on two occasions. First to dismantle an existing kitchen so that extensive damp-proofing could be undertaken and then on a subsequent occasion to reassemble the kitchen as it had been before. On both occasions Iain accommodated our requests at fairly short notice, did an excellent, neat job and at a reasonable price. Good communications; pleasant, reliable and courteous service. Mr Manus removed old, leaking windows and replaced them with new. The work was excellent and I would not hesitate in either using Mr Manus again or recommending Mr Manus to others. Indeed, Mr Manus was recommended to me by another Trusted Trader.

Ian is an efficient and organised worker. I’ve used him a number of times on an old tricky flat - where he had to solve surprise issues on the fly (due to odd construction in the existing walls/floors etc.) as the job exposed them.
His work has been just what I was hoping for, and I’ll keep using him!

Iain has build a bin shed, a Gazebo, some flower planters, and is about to make a kitchen island. He is exceptional.
