Fraser came and did all the electrics for our new kitchen - after some bad experiences with other tradespeople it was such a relief to deal with someone trustworthy, friendly and who did neat and reliable work.

Fraser came to look at a continuing fault in our flat which was causing the RCD to trip. It was an involved job, testing each part of the circuit. He had to come back a few times, but found the problem and fixed it for a reasonable price. Very happy with the service.

Fraser was very quick to book my tenants in when the oven and electric shower broke and resolved the problems quickly. The staff were very friendly on the phone and Fraser fed back to me by email after the two visits what his findings were and how he intended to fix it.

Needed my light in the bathroom checked and a replacement fitted this was all done quickly same day and was very pleased with the result and service. Contacted them for call out and was pleased to get a reply same day and confirmation of call out and any fee involved.

A new fuse board and an extractor fan in the bathroom fitted on the same visit.
The guys turned up when they said they would and got on with the job straight away.
Everything they did was done to a high standard and afterwards they went through what had been done and how it all worked with me.
They were easy to contact and told me just to get in touch again if any issues. Definitely use them again if any work required.

Was looking for a variety of electrical work including replacement/installation of external lighting. Quick reply to online query, followed up with a site visit to helpfully discuss the work and issue a quote and the work done within a week or so. Really pleased with the work, tidy professional job and came back out to tweak a small remaining point. Great work - would recommend

Fraser and his apprentice fitted new spotlights and wall sockets as part of our kitchen renovation project as well as an outside sensor light in our 1907 Edinburgh flat.
We could not be more happy with the quality of the work and the communication with Fraser Oliver Electrical Solutions Ltd was always simple and clear.

Due to new Scottish Government Legislation I needed my smoke alarms replaced.
Fraser replied to my email the same day and after describing my house setup he came back with a quote soon after. I wanted radio frequency alarms and I needed a Remote Controller as my ceilings are too high to reach for testing and I didn't want to use an app on my phone. He added this onto my quote. We arranged a day and time and he arrived promptly. Fraser was very pleasant and chatty, he did the job with no mess as alarms were in the same place as my battery operated ones. Very pleased with the service and would definitely recommend.
