Efficient/Reliable..very quick response and good service,,,,to maintain our boiler.

Used Len twice now for a boiler service and to fit a radiator. Really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Len's been my go to person for everything Gas and Plumbing for a few years now. He's one of the rare tradesmen who always responds quickly, willing to help, turns up when he says he will, highly skilled at his trade - knows his stuff, never tried to rip me off, and does this at a very competitive price. An old boiler at a rental finally gave up. Len advised on a suitable replacement and was able to have the replacement in under 2 days at a very reasonable price. Very happy with the work carried. Was having issues with my old boiler and Len arrived within 15 minutes of speaking to him and managed to get it back working again. He also took the time to scope out a plan for replacing my old boiler (as with the age and the design of the property means it isn't straight forward) for when the time comes, which is something myself and partner had planned on doing due to its age when we moved into our new home. I would highly recommend Len.

Fantastic service from Caledonian. Lovely guy, got back to me within about 5 mins of me leaving a message when I couldn’t get my heating on in the morning, and was at my house within a few minutes. The problem was minor and took only a few minutes to address and he wouldn’t take money off me for it. Couldn’t have asked for anything more, service was just exceptional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Caledonian.

A great service. Heating had packed in, Len tried to help me over the phone, then came out within the hour, identified the problem (frozen pipe which had burst under floor), he was able to isolate and fix the pipe, restoring heating and hot water. Temp out side -7! really appreciated his quick response

I had a problem getting my radiators to work on our top level of the house after switching the heating on for the winter. I found Les’s company on Edinburgh Trusted Trader. I called him and he came out in a few days. Very knowledgable and pleasant with it. Job done, great result and will now look after my heating servicing moving forward.

Absolute life saver, had massive LPG leak we called a few companies but Len was round at our home in no time.
Leak found, gas off new boiler ordered and fitted within 48 hours also brought our fittings up to legal standard.

We had an emergency as our carbon monoxide monitor alarm was ringing. Sandy at Caledonian Gas Services attend our property (even although we are not local) promptly, did all the checks, confirmed there was no gas leak and that it was a false alarm from the monitor. He also supplied us with new carbon monoxide monitors.

Safe to say we will be using their services for all boiler work going forward.

My elderly parents were having problems with their boiler and were worried they’d wake up one day with no heating or hot water. I called Caledonian Gas Services and despite it being New Years Eve Len promised to go and help them. Len was polite, professional and efficient and to their great relief fixed the problem. Len followed up his visit few days later to check that everything was ok. I highly recommend Caledonian Gas Services and will go straight to them for any boiler or plumbing issues in the future.

I had an issue with hot water at a rented property and tenants complaining at what is an extremely busy time of the year in Decemeber just before Christmas. I rang and messaged several Gas engineers but Len was the only one to respond immediately. He picked up the phone when I rang listened patiently and allowed me to explain the problem. Prettry much straightaway he was able to diagnose the problem and advised on resolution. Spoke to the tenant and hey presto it was bang on what Len had diagnosed. I have reached out to Len on a few occassions in the past as well and on each occasion I've been impressed by spot on diagnosis and reliable workmanship. Len would be my go to hereon forward for any issues/servicing requirements in future. Can totally recommend Caledonian Gas services with confidence.

I almost feel guilty rating Caledonian Gas Services as a 5 in every catagorie but there was no option. Len was great, our old boiler was sruggling and he explained our options clearly without confusing us with jargon. He supplied and fitted a top of the range new boiler at a decent price carried out the work to a good standard even though our old set up was not quite straightforward. No Brainer! Would definately use him again.

I had a boiler replaced and moved to a new location as well as the plumbing for a new kitchen. This involved complex pipe work and juggling around existing plumbing. The work was carried out to an exacting standard in a timely and professional manner. I would highly recommend this company.

Len replaced our boiler with an electric one as the design of our flats left no option for fitting a new gas boiler. Before finding Len, we'd had trouble finding someone willing to help with our boiler as the problem was quite unusual. New combi boiler into ancient house. Arrived when he said he would and charged what was quoted at beginning - that’s enough for the first four stars! Gets another for happily dealing with some very old pipe work and the sort of issues old houses throw up. Very happy to recommend and would have no hesitation about using again.

Len is very honest and thorough. He came to inspect my old boiler and told me it could be several parts that needed replaced. In essence, he advised me to purchase a new boiler which I did.
