Allied Trade Plumbing & Heating was established by Cameron Burt in 2002 as a sole trader and in 2014 became a limited company. We are based in Midlothian, covering Edinburgh, The Lothians and Scottish Borders.
Our team of Gas engineers are fully qualified, SNIPEF, Gas Safe and OFTEC registered. We are proudly endorsed by Edinburgh Trusted Trader, and Which giving customers a view of the high standard of work we provide.
Allied Trade Plumbing & Heating Ltd are Baxi and Viessmann approved and Worcester -Bosch accredited installers. Our engineers have experience in servicing, repairing and installing all of the leading boiler manufacturers equipment.
Our engineers have experience working on Domestic and Commercial plumbing and heating projects. Other services we provide are Drain unblocking, heat pump servicing and Installation. We carry out anything from boiler services to boiler installations or small leaks to bathroom installations. No job is to big or to small for us.
With our organised appointment booking system and detailed quotes we aim to provide customers with a top quality service from you initial enquiry to the completion of the work.

I had old radiators replaced. Allied completed the work for a fair price and were very efficient. Customer service was excellent. I have recommended Allied to various friends and family and all have been impressed by their work and customer care.

My sister discovered a leak at her house and Allied were first company that picked up on Trusted Trader for an emergency call out. Efficient and helpful from the outset, the engineers (Liston and Keiren) came within the first half our of the 2.5 hour window we were given and they got straight to it. They sorted the initial leak quickly and well, then checked for and found two others - which weren't immediately obvious - also fixing those efficiently and well, and in less than ideal circumstances. Friendly, efficient, and tidy professionals. Costs were very reasonable and were as indicated at the outset. Would definitely use again, and am very happy and willing to recommend.

Engineer arrived and fixed our problem, new element for boiler supplied and fitted for reasonable price, engineer explained issue and remedy provided, no problems at all and definitely recommended.

Engineer turned up on time. Well presented, very polite and good manners. He went straight to work and completed the work (Gas safety Inspection) in about an hour. Would strongly recommend Allied trade and Plumbing ltd.

We had a new shower room installed in our small holiday let. The company carried out the work to a very high standard and everyone involved was very helpful. The team included the managing director, office staff, plumbers, tilers and painters. We were delighted with all aspects of the service, but would give particular praise for the trust and reliability of the company, so important for us as we live at a distance from the flat.

Found this company here and very happy with all work, initially the person o spoke to early on a Sunday helped via the phone to get our heating on again then we had them come out for a service and repair, friendly, polite, good turn around time. We will use them again and recommend them

Low water pressure problem. The plumber who attended was a very polite, helpful young man who explained and showed me what the problem was and what he had done to fix it, excellent service !

I live in a rental and my boiler broke this morning. My landlord pays for a homecare plan but the earliest appointment I could get was Thursday 4th March despite no hot water and heating. After a recommendation I gave the company a call and Cameron was round once he’d finished his other job, and the boiler was fixed within an hour. Managed to get all the relevant paperwork too so my landlord can hopefully claim it back from the other company.

I had a leak fixed on some old communal pipework in my flat. The work was carried out very efficiently and was very impressed with their knowledge about all the old pipework and the problems involved, turning off the water in the street, contacting my neighbours about it etc. Any time I have ever phoned for help or advice they have been very quick to respond and always helpful. Brilliant receptionists as well who are also very knowledgeable!

Called Allied Trade after being told by another company (Have an expensive Homecare agreement) that we would have to wait 7 days for someone to fix our boiler (no hot water or heating) on 29 Dec. Cameron appeared within 1 hour and fixed the leak. Very efficient and tidy (brought own vacuum). Great service, would definitely recommend!

Replaced broken shower mixer bar and unblocked slow-draining shower. I really appreciate how quickly this job was set up and how helpful the team were. I received a call back within about an hour of making contact via the firm's website, a quote within a day, and the work was carried out a few days later. The plumber who attended was helpful, tidy and considerate, and took appropriate Covid precautions (mask, distancing etc). Everything was done in under an hour.
