Allied Trade Plumbing & Heating was established by Cameron Burt in 2002 as a sole trader and in 2014 became a limited company. We are based in Midlothian, covering Edinburgh, The Lothians and Fife.
Our team of Gas engineers are fully qualified, SNIPEF and Gas Safe registered. We are proudly endorsed by Edinburgh Trusted Trader, Which and Checkatrade giving customers a view of the high standard of work we provide.
Allied Trade Plumbing & Heating Ltd are Baxi and Viessmann approved and Worcester accredited installers. Our engineers have experience in servicing, repairing and installing all of the leading boiler manufacturers equipment.
Our engineers have experience working on Domestic and Commercial plumbing and heating projects. We carry out anything from boiler services to boiler installations or small leaks to bathroom installations. No job is to big or to small for us.
With our organised appointment booking system and detailed quotes we aim to provide customers with a top quality service from you initial enquiry to the completion of the work.

Called Allied Trade after being told by another company (Have an expensive Homecare agreement) that we would have to wait 7 days for someone to fix our boiler (no hot water or heating) on 29 Dec. Cameron appeared within 1 hour and fixed the leak. Very efficient and tidy (brought own vacuum). Great service, would definitely recommend!

Replaced broken shower mixer bar and unblocked slow-draining shower. I really appreciate how quickly this job was set up and how helpful the team were. I received a call back within about an hour of making contact via the firm's website, a quote within a day, and the work was carried out a few days later. The plumber who attended was helpful, tidy and considerate, and took appropriate Covid precautions (mask, distancing etc). Everything was done in under an hour.

First class and quick response to my leaking pipe. The enquiry was quickly answered with costs and an appointment date and time. Everything was fixed on time. A really neat job by Cameron in a very awkward spot to access. I highly recommend and will use again.

Would highly recommend for the quality of workmanship and the way the work was managed and carried out by very competent professionals unobtrusively. They did not just do the easiest thing for them but considered what would work out best for us.

I used this company before, for the annual boiler service with a minor fault repair and some part replacement. At that time I was extremely happy with the service provided. This time it was an emergency call. I must say that the engineer ( Grant) is a star. Very kind, polite, tidy but also knowledgable and proffesional. Always explains in simple way what is being done. Could not recommend them enough. We had a blocked drain and flooded bathroom which we needed an emergency call our for. Grahame arrived swiftly and dealt with the issue at hand. Very professional and friendly team, would definitely use again.

Absolutely brilliant. Only guy we could get out past 5pm on a Thursday evening who wasn’t extortionate. Only one other available at almost twice the price. Couldn’t believe how difficult it was to persuade someone to work! 10/10 would recommend and use again.
