William arrived at the planned time and explained everything as he did the troubleshooting task with the lock. He identified the problem was the cylinder of my lock and gave me the details of cost and I was happy with that. He also cut me extra keys and tested them in the lock. So all the keys work! I found him professional, pleasant and efficient. I would recommend William

William came, exactly when we agreed, to put right our patio door which would not lock. The problem at first looked like a total replacement job but he detected an ingenious solution and fixed it in 20 minutes, and even gave us a discount on his quoted price. We were unable to enter our flat due to a faulty lock. Albany Locksmiths were quick to respond, arriving within half an hour of our phone call and explained each process they undertook to get the door unlocked. They provided an excellent level of customer service and put us at ease during a stressful time with good humour. We would definitely recommend!

Really satisfied by the service provided by William replacing the mortice lock on our front door for a new 5 lever one. The job turned out to be more complicated than it seemed initially, but William took the time to find the best solution. He made sure to explain everything very carefully and clearly throughout and to show me exactly what he was doing. He was very friendly and chatty throughout. Replace lock on internal front door which was connected to our alarm system. - not an emergency.
William came next day and although he said he could repair our lock, we chose to have a new one as the original lock was 70 years old. He had a new lock in his van and was able to replace immediately.

Front door lock stopped working with key stuck in it. Albany locksmith arrived promptly, took lock apart and got key out, he couldn’t see any other issues but as we’ve been having trouble with the lock for a couple of weeks we asked the locksmith to replace the lock. This was done quickly and we were given 3 keys as well as a years guarantee. Very satisfied with the service and work completed, very polite gentleman, would cheerfully recommend.
