We had a new gutter fitted and a few roof tiles replaced. We were very pleased with the friendly and professional service.

We required the replacement of lead work and facia boards on the canopy above a bay window. We had to wait a couple of months for the work to be undertaken as they were so busy (which I think is a good sign!), but it was well worth the wait. We are really pleased with the work completed: the team were extremely efficient, tidy and very pleasant to deal with. I certainly would not hesitate recommending to others.

We had very complex building works completed which involved installation of new supporting beams in the back part of the house new kitchen ceiling and new bathroom flooring plus installation of a new rear French style door to the rear of the property.

We have used Shearer's for some years now to keep our roof sound. They are not the cheapest out there however they do the job well using materials which fit with the rest of the building. Would recommend.

We had our roof replaced which involved; new slate, installation of front and back gutter, renewal of wooden facings to front, installation of a small velux, lead work and wrapping of coping stones. The team of roofers worked extremely hard to complete the job within the required timescale despite some rainy days. The team was well organised with colleagues delivering materials and disposing of waste enabling the team on the roof to continue working. The supervisor visited frequently and kept us up to date with progress. It was also very convenient to have the office to phone for updates / arrangements in advance of the job starting; there was always someone at the end of the phone. When the scaffolding blocked the sky signal to our elderly neighbour (who was isolated due to Covid restrictions) the office arranged an aerial tradesman that day to solve the issue. We are very happy with the finish and would definitely use again and recommend to others.

Highly recommend this company. Repaired damaged roof in very inclement weather with the promise of full repair when the weather allowed. Immediately lockdown was lifted the work was carried out to my satisfaction and within the timescale. Surveyor first, then workmen, then further check on customer satisfaction. A couple of very minor cosmetic issues were noticed after the team had left which we reported to the office. We were very impressed when the team were back on site the next day to resolve these issues.

After an instant reply followed by a decent quote i decided to get a full re-roof, point the chimneys, replace gutter and lead, done.
they managed to get me in the week after my quote and completed it the same week. hard professional workers and cleared up all the mess at the end. Would strongly recommend for any roofing job!

Repair to roof at chimney stack, replaced joists and lead etc. We had a bad leak from roof which came into bedroom above bed when it rained. My dad has dementia so the job had to be done correctly as it was above his bed. The guys who came out were very professional and understanding, gave me my free quote for work to be done. I had replacement gutters in a tricky position (over a long conservatory) requiring scaffolding. All work was carried out when promised, and to satisfaction, and I was informed promptly of any delay (e.g due to bad weather)
I also had some low level rendering work completed at more or less the same time. A previous trader had let me down and Shearers were the complete opposite - prompt, good, clean work, left no mess, good quality work to completion.
They also followed up after completion to make sure I was happy. There was one small breakage (tile) which was repaired / replaced without quibble.
They are not the cheapest but I will certainly use them again for their reliability, professionalism, attention to detail and good quality workmanship.
