Annual lawn improvement and treatment service I contacted Pro Lawn following receipt of a mail shot. I was impressed by their quick response and felt comfortable that they were a local company rather than one of the nationals. Following their inspection they provided clear advice on what was required and offered 2 levels of service. After further discussion and clarification I opted for their Premier Service and I have not regretted my decision. In a period of 4 months the condition of my lawn has improved immeasurably and I have never seen it looking better going into winter. I look forward to further improvements over the next 8 months of the contract.

Remove old growth,scarify lay topsoil and seed lawn. Visit to check progress. Lay more topsoil and seed on couple of bald patches as required. Check progress by phone. The work has been carried out as specified. Any additional requests such as work on a couple of baldpatches or general advice have been dealt with promptly and in a friendly manner.Job still has a bit to run but so far, we are very satisfied with the results.

Our lawn was mostly dead after being badly looked after for some time, so had to be completely re done. Prolawn did an excellent job, and after about 4 visits our lawn looks perfect, lush and green. We would highly recommend them. We were given the name of Prolawn by a neighbour who had been satisfied with their work previously. We contacted them, they came and inspected our ( large ) lawn and then gave us an estimate of what precisely would need to be done, with timings and costings. We accepted their offer, and they got on with the job, keeping us in touch with a report after each visit.
We would recommend them without hesitation as they did an excellent job.

Having laid new turf after a house renovation I was keen to ensure the new turf was well maintained and in good condition. Pro Lawn were excellent to deal with turning up when they said and explained their service and options. I chose their Premier Lawn service which provided care over the course of the year including all aspects of care. The results have been excellent with our front and back lawns in excellent condition. Red thread was a problem at one point and after one phone call Pro Lawn visited the next day to apply fungicide to resolve the issue which I was more than impressed with!

Prolawn did a great job on our lawns which were mainly moss and weeds when they first started their treatments.

Initially they applied quick acting weed and moss killer and scarified the lawns. This was followed up with regular treatments of feeding and soil monitoring.

At the end of summer/early Autumn, they airiated the lawn to prepare it for the winter.

A first class experience from start to finish.

We saw great results after a couple of weeks and, after a couple of months our lawns were terrific (and the talk of our neighbours as well).

Communication pre and post visits was excellent and all the technicians who tended our lawns were courteous, friendly and respectful of our property too.

Weedkiller sprayed on paths & driveway. Two men who came were excellent and we careful to only pray where required. The were fantastic @ identifying the toe of weeds so that correct type & strength of solution was used.

The staff conduct themselves well are reliable and friendly. Office staff when paying are quick , efficient and cheerful. They offer other services such as garden tidy up ,which I have used and they were very good .They make you aware of their additional service but without trying to pressure you. Overall this company has provided an excellent service and would be happy to recommend them.

Hedge cutting and tree pruning. Work was carried out well but tidy up was poor.
It seemed that a blower was used to blow cuttings from lawn but into the flower border and long grass.
Tidy up lasted for a few minutes, whereas I spend hours over some days picking up cuttings.
I am in my mine ties, cannot bend and hare to use a grippers.

Recommended by a satisfied neighbour, there was a visit and estimate (photographs were taken). There was a an estimate given - cannot remember the figure £200 and something?? Date of visit was 19 November 2019. Guys arrived on time on the day, asked what else I wanted done to the garden to make the garden ready for winter, were courteous at all times, and took all the rubbish away leaving it tidy - first rate job. Pro Lawn was recommended to me by a neighbour. I was not disappointed..

Difficult to add to above. In short the team were professional, friendly, more than willing to do a couple of modest ''extras'' (pruning a recalcitrant holly and controlling some invasive irises) The Big Thing fore me was the removal and extra check to make sure all the rubbish was gone, leaving the garden, neat, tidy and just good to look at!

The most recent work was the Winter Garden Maintenance visit. The weather was atrocious. There were 2 men and they worked their socks off. I plied them with hot drinks to keep them warm.
The garden was left in a very tidy condition and they did everything I asked them to.
This is the third time I have had a winter maintenance visit and it is excellent. I have been dealing with Pro Lawn for 3 or 4 years, having been recommended them by a friend. I have always been delighted with any work they have done. They have transformed my grass. The winter maintenance visit is most welcome, especially as everything seemed to grow like mad last year. The staff are always pleasant and a pleasure to have around.

Clearance of borders in preparation for next spring/summer bedding etc. I am happy with the work carried out for the winter clearance. The artificial grass could maybe have been left a bit clearer.

Pro Lawn Ltd has provided first class service whenever I have called upon their excellent staff. When a problem with my lawn proved hard to overcome, Pro Lawn staff persisted until a solution was found - at no extra charge. Although my garden is relatively small, their attention to putting it into good shape with their Winter Garden Service could not have been more thorough if I had been the owner of a stately home - and all conducted at a reasonable price.
I can recommend this company for their expert advice, the knowledge and diligence of their staff and their excellent customer service. They certainly provide great value for money and a good outcome. From my first enquiry, I was impressed by the reception team. Initially, I wanted to have a badly damaged lawn restored to good health. A senior gardener came to view the situation and advised on options for treatment. I took this advice and the work then took place on an agreed timescale at the price which had been quoted. The senior gardener visited after an interval and when it was clear that more treatment was needed, this was carried out, within the original price.

Pleased with that outcome, I then used their Winter Garden Service, through which there was a further lawn treatment, pruning of shrubs and a willow tree, plus digging over the soil. This was done to my satisfaction by a team of gardeners at a very reasonable price.

It is good to know that the services of Pro Lawn Ltd are not priced at a rate beyond the reach of people with quite modest gardens and that all customers receive the same courteous treatment.

To weed and get garden ready for winter. The men that came to my house were considerate to my Mum. They worked with no extra long breaks. Work completed on time and garden left tidy all refuse taken away and my garden left.

I have opted for the year long package. This comes with numerous visits and lawn treatments, including moss and weed control and airation. After the first visit it has become apparent that my lawn is improving. I get an email to inform me what has been done and when the next visit is expected. It’s been excellent so far and I look forward to see the lawn in the summer. Lawn pro have been excellent. My lawn was in such a poor condition that I needed the year long service to improve it but it look like it’s going to be worth it. After the year I will the. Reduce to an “as needed” treatment contract.

Old tired lawn lifted, removed and new turf installed. Once old lawn was removed the guys leveled and flattened the ground before laying new lawn. Result is nice flat lawn. Recently had our rear lawn lifted and replaced by the guys at Prolawn. I have to say that it was a positive experience. The guys arrived as promised and completed all the work as expected and to a high standard. The guys were polite, hard working and very tidy. New lawn installed and settling in well and looks great...thanks to our helpful climate -- rain! Would not hesitate to recommend Prolawn.

Treatment of weeds in garden. I am very happy with the service provided by Pro Lawn, my garden has never looked as tidy and weed free! They also take the trouble to ensure optimum weather conditions prior to treating. Excellent service and well worth the fee.

Treatment of Lawns front and back We contacted Pro Lawn and were visited by Martin McTaggart who surveyed the areas, confirmed what we wanted and let us have details of pricing and what service they provided in the contract. No pressure was put on us to make a decision there and then. Once we did decide we contacted the office and they were very helpful, sent us the necessary documents that day and answered any questions we had. The work started within 2 weeks and at first the front lawn in particular looked awful. So far we are very happy the lawn now looks green and lush and they will continue to monitor for the remainder of the agreed period. I would highly recommend Pro Lawn.

There's an improvement on the mono block, but I was advised the moss would turn black, this was not happend, therefore the moss has not cleared.

Our lawn was turfed the previous summer by another tradesman. It was rather thin and yellow following the winter, so on recommendation we asked prolawn to rejuvenate the grass. So far they have been polite, helpful and prompt in their communication, and after two treatments ( one of which was the scarify package),the grass has improved dramatically. The technicians have been tidy and friendly. Would happily recommend. The office team reply to emails promptly, bank transfers for payment are accepted.

The initial survey was honest and informative, and did not recommend unnecessary expenditure. When the groundwork team visit, they are also knowledgeable, friendly and tidy. Plenty of advice on how to get the very best from the lawn. It’s never looked better!!!

First of one year’s treatment to improve lawn.
Price is for the whole year’s treatment. I have dealt with Prolawn off and on for many years and each time I’ve had work done by them it has been satisfactory except for one time 14 years ago when they had to reseed a large part of the lawn, but they sorted out the debacle, of course at no extra cost.

MY HOLE DRIVE WAS TREATED WITH WEEDKILLER WAS VERY PLEASED WITH RESULTS, WILL BE HAVING THE SAME DONE AGAIN THIS YEAR. Very happy.

Winter Tidy Only slight disappointment was that chuckies were left over driveway and patio area and leaves were left under/among some plants.

Annual garden tidy up This was the third time the team did a garden clear up. Each year they get a little better. They arrived on time and were careful not to cause any collateral damage. They followed the brief and kept us up to date throughout. By now we’re getting to know the team and we were very happy with this year’s performance. In reality, we wouldn’t keep re-commissioning if we weren’t.

Winter Garden Clean Up and cutting back for bush I have used the company for many years and have always proved prompt and reliable. The men conducted themselves well. The spoke to me before they started and again just before they finishedthey checked to see if they had done all I expected. I asked for another couple of bushes to be cut back. This was no problem and did not incur any further charges

Winter garden maintenance visit. A team of 6 men in 3 vans cut back shrubs, trees, herbaceous plants, edged the grass, cleared leaves and anything else I needed done. Then they took all the debris away with them. This is the second time I have used this service and I have been delighted with the work on both occasions. It is well worth the money. I will be getting them back next winter. Pro Lawn have been doing my grass for 2 years now and I cannot fault them.

Winter garden service. We had our leaves all cleared borders tidied and weeded trees trimmed and grass cut. Would have taken one person all day but completed in great time by the team at Prolawn. Well worth it. Great service at great price.

Have had only one treatment to grass so far but already see difference.
The work was carried out without me being there but I was informed what had happened and when my next visit would be.

We had the "Total Weedkill" treatment applied to all the path, patio, decking and gravel areas of our garden. This company was recommended to me by a friend who has used them for several years.

The surveyor came out and surveyed our garden and gave me the price, which was fine. The office then contacted me by phone to arrange a suitable date for the treatment, which was agreed to be the following week. The technician arrived as arranged and sprayed all the agreed areas.

The technician explained what he was doing and what I could expect to happen next.

I was doubtful about the effectiveness of the treatment, as our weeds were really awful, but I was totally wrong - treatment started to take effect within 24 hours. After 3 weeks, we had no weeds at all - they all just shrivelled up and disappeared like magic.

No new weeds have grown - totally satisfied with the service.

Lawn Treatment Exceptional service that transformed our lawn. I would highly recommend their services.

Spraying weed killer on all the paths surrounding the house and treatment for dandelions on a small lawn. An excellent free survey of the work was done and a price for it given after that. I received a phone call 24 hours later giving a starting date of 48 hours later. The work was carried out on time and very neatly and the weeds have now died.

I contacted the company as they are used by a neighbour and he is really satisfied with their service.

I have to say that based on the first visit my lawn has never lloked better - grass is already greener and weeds (which I was spending a fortune on trying to eliminate with store bought products) have virtually disappeared.

I also took advantage of their weed treatment service (cost £55 for size of area I needed treated) to spray my drive, patio, decking and half of back garden which was becoming overgrown. Again their commercial treatment has worked spectacularly well compared to the retail products I had used in the past. I''ve signed up for a maintenance weed treatment at the end of the summer too.

To repair and rebuild our front and rear lawn by visiting several times a year to carryout specified work Contacted Pro lawn on the advice of a local gardener to try and resolve the problem of my lawns not growing. From the start they were extremely helpful their technicians who attend the home are always polite and have a lot of knowledge in their field. Although the work on my lawn is still ongoing so far I am extremely pleased with their performance.
