Review a trader

Blair and Marc were hired to prep and paint the walls and ceiling, and sand and varnish all the skirtings and decorative woodwork/trim in the long hallway and entrance vestibule in my Victorian flat. The plaster walls were a mess which had been hidden under textured wallpaper that I removed on purchase. I do a lot of DIY and would have got to it one day but my wife wanted it finished because she is fed up of living in a building site while we renovate. She picked the colour and bought the paint and said she wanted it colour drenched. We got one other quote. We went with Blair and Marc because while they explained their process I was impressed with their attention to detail and commitment to getting a perfect surface prior to applying the paint. I was also impressed with their enthusiasm for doing the work on the wood. The brief was to make it look perfect for my wife. They succeeded. They were prompt, tidy, polite and helpful. The finished job is first rate and has transformed our home. Wife is delighted. I am also pleased not to have this job hanging over me as it would have taken me weeks and would not have been half as good. Their fee was reasonable and the quality of the work easily justified. I consider it money well spent and having the job done so well is a huge relief They have impressed the neighbours, and will likely get at least 2 further jobs in our old building as a result. I will very likely get them back again for more work in the future. Thanks guys.

Driveway was tarred that had broken up over the years and was the worse for wear. This was changed to lok block by D&D paving and they made an excellent job of it, Due to their work commitments we had to wait a few months but it was worth the wait, I would recommend them to anyone, first class job

John and his team dealt with a severe outbreak of dry rot. When we recovered from the shock of hearing the problem was dry rot, John explained everything simply and clearly so we clearly understood what had to be done, why and our options.

Roof was cleared of moss and roof tiles checked and replaced as necessary. Work was carried out efficiently, The area around the house was cleared of all moss debris before the job was completed.
