Business Information
We are a Family run company, formed in 2011 from the decision of a major company to shut down its local branch. We decided to use the same staff and site personnel to establish a new company, using the same experienced operatives in the Heating, Plumbing and Gas services field.
We will cater for any domestic and small commercial works including Installations, Servicing and general maintenance requirements.
We also carry a building services design service in the company for those who need any type of Plumbing, Water, Air conditioning and drainage services designed in addition to Heating and Gas services.
With a combined experience of over 60 years in the Gas/Heating/Plumbing and Design Fields we can be trusted to get the job done right :).

I have used CHAPS a number of times to service my Air Source Heat Pump. They are always quick to respond to messages and strive to fit appointments in as soon as they can.

I received a prompt reply to my initial enquiry and set a date for the visit. Ian arrived at the quoted time to do the boiler service.
He and his collegue were friendly, imformative and quickly did the service while letting me know what each thing was they were doing.
Left all the paperwork needed about the gas test etc.
In addition he looked at my bathroom towel rails and a problem in the en suite.
He gave me information about the problems and I am waiting for a quote to sort them as well.
Would definitly use him again

A little while ago my boiler had a fault. I contacted Chaps to see if they could fix it.
They responded to me really quickly and came round the next day. They were really nice and polite, they managed to fix it and the cost was nominal.
I would definitely recommend them and would most certainly contact them for any plumbing or heating problems.

John arrived exactly when he said he would, he is extremely friendly and helpful. He explained exactly what needed to be done to fix our issue and completed the job straight away. I would highly recommend this company.

There was an unusual fault in my heating system, Another plumber had failed to find the fault. Ian Chapman found almost immediately what was wrong, did a temporary adjustment so that the system worked, ordered the new part (a thermostat) and when that part became available he installed it (on a separate visit). Ian is polite, thorough and intelligent. Strongly recommended.
