Millar Electrics Limited have for 30 years been experts in their trade, respected and trusted across the South West of Scotland. With a proven track record for quality workmanship in and around Ayrshire.
We offer services to domestic and private individuals, with free quotations. All types of electrical work are welcome, from full rewires, and Electrical Testing and smoke alarm works, through to smaller repair works, supplying or changing lights or wiring cookers, fault finding, for example.
With a wide range of contracts, including Council, Commercial and Industrial works,
all of our staff are trained, keep up to date in Health 7 Safety measures, and all wear uniforms and drive company vehicles.
We currently have a team of 21 qualified electricians and 3 office staff.
We are located within 1 hour of Glasgow to our North and Dumfries to our South. We are within 30 minutes drive of all parts of Ayrshire.

A fan was fitted in my kitchen. Andrew Whiteford came to core the hole. Was a tough one but he got the job done. The guys from Millar Electrics Ltd have been great during the works. Highly recommend

Millar Electrical has been our 'go to' electrical company for many years. Everything from installing our electrical points within our building; lighting work for our multi-use games area; an external power point; charging points for e-bikes; PAT testing and most recently a community defibrillator on our campus.
They have an excellent understanding of the community where they go out of their way to help out with events - especially our annual Christmas Festival
I would highly recommend this professional company for electrical work. The customer service is second to none.

We use Millar Electrics every month for fitting lighting in our factory. We have also used them for exterior lighting, new production lines and PAT testing. They have always been very reliable, very flexible with working around our production and also the communication on future work quoting has been brilliant.

I have used and built a working relationship with Millar Electrics for 4 years, using them for a variety of electrical services. This includes reactive works to repair faults within our Cafe, socket installations, smoke alarm upgrades and general lighting repairs. I have found on every occasion each of the engineers are reliable, efficient and they give a complete understanding of the task being completed. We also use them for the electrical safety tests within the 9 rental properties, again also for any other electrical repairs and smoke alarm upgrades required. Quotes are always sensible, and invoicing is also detailed throughout. A friendly service on the end of the phone, and correspondence is top notch. We enjoy working with local businesses to give them a turn, and this is one i will continue to work with in the future. Thanks.
