We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.
This means that our work is regularly assessed to ensure that it meets all the current regulations as well as the industry standards. I had some lighting and wiring issues attended to in the flat. Campbell at Energize was punctual, friendly and seemed very competent at fault finding with good technical ability. This enabled us to resolve the problem succinctly.
Overall the level of service provided was good and the price seemed fairly normal. Neil whom I spoke to was helpful and I would be sure to recommend this company to other people.

Fitted an EV charger & external light, and upgraded fusebox / consumer unit. Arrived on time, did a good job, tested everything including finding an old cable left behind from a removed electric shower, routed all the new cables neatly and left the place tidy. Communication from Neil through the whole process from first enquiry through post-install checkup was proactive and efficient, and helped clarify the ev charger purchase and install process.
Can’t ask for anything more, and would happily recommend.

Installation of Simpson EV charger for Tesla Y and found Energize through the Tesla site. From start to finish Neil was the most helpful and informative person I have ever dealt with from a Trades company. Politely changed my mind on Charger type based on minimalistic look and feel needs and the whole process from contact to install was about 3 weeks. Installers were quick, helpful and very tidy with no mess left whatsoever. Absolute top job and would recommend Neil and the team at Energize to anyone.

second time using this company. Has a bathroom light fitting needed replaced. Called up and spoke to Neil who was very quick in getting a quote to us and accommodating our needs as we needed it replaced asap and they came out the next day at short notice for us!

Energize Electrical replaced a faulty security light. I returned to Neil and his team as I was very satisfied with work done earlier in the year.
Neil is extremely quick in responding to contact and his communication on the phone and by email and texts is very clear and efficient.
The electrician, Ross was very pleasant, efficient and competent and I am very happy with the standard of work.

I used Energise Electrical after a recommendation from my daughter. We had a new power point put behind our tv, there were wires showing and Campbell and Ross worked out a simple solution so they were all hidden. On the day they arrived there was a couple of extra jobs I asked about - I had purchased a new tv mount which they also fitted for me and they were very obliging by helping me get my dishwasher working which I was delighted about. Great service and very nice people to work with I would highly recommend EE and will use them again.

Another great experience with Energize Electrical. I needed a fuse box and the wiring sorted with my oven/hob. After purchasing my flat I discovered the hob had no electric connected to it and there was no fuse box for the oven/hob. Campbell came and fixed everything. Now I don't need a lighter to start my hob! I loved finally hearing the click, click, click sound of the gas ignition once the job was complete. As usual, Campbell was polite, friendly and professional. Always a pleasure to see him and have the reassurance that the job is being done right.

As a result of a failed EICR I required a new consumer unit. Neil at Energize Electrical provided a quote for a replacement unit with which I was happy. Campbell turned up at the agreed time to fit the unit. He left my premises clean and tidy. A high standard of workmanship from Energize Electrical and extremely good communication from Neil.

I required a direct cabling from the fuse board to the kitchen for a new cooker. I didn’t think it was easy or straightforward but Campbell, the Approved Electrician, showed great creativity with the minimum of disruption.
The full scope of the work was explained, understood and site surveyed prior to commencement . The communication was excellent from start to finish, very customer orientated.
Would highly recommend and would not hesitate to use again.

I required an EICR. Within a few minutes of submitting my online request Neil from Energize Electrical called me. He explained everything and what was required. Very shortly after that I received an online quote, which I was happy with. A date and time was arranged for my inspection. I received several messages before the agreed date re-confirming the appointment. This helped to reassure me that I was dealing with professionals, who were very customer orientated. Campbell turned up at the agreed time and was very thorough in inspecting all my electrical installations. He explained his recommendations for remedial work that I, as a layman, was able to understand! Neil then phoned me to make sure that I had been happy with the level of service provided. I'm very satisfied with the service I received from Neil and his team at Energize Electrical and can highly recommend them to potential future customers.
