Energize Electrical was established to provide a comprehensive service to all domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.
We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.
This means that our work is regularly assessed to ensure that it meets all the current regulations as well as the industry standards. It also gives our customers, reassurance and guarantees that if for any reason work does not meet the correct standard it will be corrected under the terms of the scheme.

Neil was our first point of contact and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. The electrical remedial work and EV charger installation were completed on time and with minimum disruptions. Energize Electrical installed hard wired smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms. They also checked and fixed some other light fittings and cables which had not been done properly in the past. Finally they installed a new dimmer switch. The team was very efficient and professional and left everything tidy after doing the work. Would highly recommend.

Energize Electrical put in some LED spotlights for us in our kitchen, bathroom and shower-room and an in-line fan in our shower-room to help address a mould problem. They gave excellent advice and service. Their worker was very friendly and did a good job. We are very pleased with their work.

Would definitely recommend Energize Electrical. While some contractors can leave people hanging at times, Energize Electrical kept us in the loop from the initial request for a quote through to conducting a home survey for us. Even before the survey was initiated and paid for, we felt supported in understanding how this type of work is done and felt like we could anticipate the next steps in the convoluted process of purchasing a flat. Their local knowledge is helpful as well, as they have contacts and trusted sources which will make it easier when the necessary works are conducted.

I needed an external socket replaced after it was accidentally damaged. Having used Energize Electrical in the past I had no hesitation in contacting them again to complete the work. As usual Neil is prompt in replying to any enquiry and quick to provide an acceptable quote. The work was very quickly scheduled and completed to a high standard by Ross.

My three extractor fans were not working properly. The company assessed the problem and the old central extractor unit was replaced. Then it was found that two of the fans were not connected to the extraction ducts (builder`s fault) . EE staff rectified these faults.
I felt I was kept informed at all stages.
The workmen were pleasant, very clean and tidy while working.
The work was to a high standard and I would recommend them.

Amazing service. Energize electrical were recommended to me after I struggled to find an electrician who would take on installing a new plug socket and fitting some outside lights. Telephoned Neil who had a really friendly approachable manner on the phone and guided me through a very simple online booking process. Speedy communication. Met Campbell the next day to quote for the work who gave great advice. The lads who came round to do the work today were very professional and tidy, working around our eaves storage space and rather chaotic family life very accommodatingly. They explained everything clearly. Neil telephoned again promptly after the work was completed to ensure everything had been done to a standard we were happy with. Overjoyed with the service and surpassed our expectations. A lovely team and would certainly be my first port of call for any future electrical work needed. Cannot recommend Energize Electrical highly enough.
