Called this company this morning regarding my door mechanism & fortunately was in the area. New part supplied, fitted and any mess cleared up before 11.00am. Excellent service & reasonably priced too. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Iain was fantastic at fixing new locks for me. He arrived very quick and on time and the quality of his workmanship was superb. Super friendly and very helpful. Definitely recommend.

Iain Nicol of I & S Lock service replaced three locks including a Chub lock, provided 6 sets of keys, overhauled a Keysafe and replaced the weather-proof cover, changed the keysafe code, removed the outer, storm door, planed the edges to stop it jamming, treated the bare wood, replaced the door and arranged to stop junk mail being delivered to what is a personal, holiday home. He also helped the estate agents looking after the house to make sure they had the correct keys on the new, complete sets.
The work was carried our rapidly. I was kept informed at every stage and he exercised appropriate initiative to fix things I did not know needed to be fixed.
Despite doing more than he quoted for, his invoice was for the amount of the initial estimate. It was so reasonable, I wanted to pay him more, but he refused. What more can I say ? This level of service is now very rare. My wife and I are so grateful to have had an awkward security problem resolved so efficiently.

Called Iain when my front door was jammed and the lock was broken, he came out as quickly as possible, checked everything and got the required parts etc. Came back same day and fixed the problems. His price was very good.

Contacted I & S Lock Service who came out the same day even though we live outwith Ayrshire. Adjusted the door as Iain checked the mechanism which was fine, for a fraction of what a different company had quoted to replace the mechanism. Can't thank Iain enough. Genuine tradesman, highly recommend.
