Steven was running late (delayed on a previous job) but kept me informed when he knew it was going to be the case. Arrived later on, carried out the work, tested, certificated and invoiced me by email. Friendly guy, didn't rush the work, inspired confidence. Reasonable rates. I'd definitely shortlist again for future work.

Fabulous response time to initial text asking for an appointment. Steven text because the time had to be changed. He was on time and very efficient. He provided written reports and gave verbal report as well. He checked our boiler and gas fire.

Have used Steven for the last 2 years in my previous property, purchased a flat 4 weeks ago gas boiler is 18 years old, and appeared on its last legs, Steven did what he could in his usual efficient way , he agreed when I asked to get quotes for a new boiler, and will advise, will have no hesitation in using Steven to install new boiler, he is an excellent tradesman and would recommend and do to those that ask me.

Booked Steven from SB Heating and Gas he came our Feb 2023 annual service very professional no problems this year year. I will book him to return on February 2024 this is a company I can trust. Steven capped a pipe beneath our floorboards and removed a section of pipe. Had been concerned there could be difficulties working in the crawlspace, but Steven sorted it out in no time at all. Communication and price were both great. We'll definitely be contacting Steven again if we have any other gas works about the house.

Came bang on time very professional new exactly what was needed for the job, as I didn't have a clue, took just under an hour and very reasonable priced, he was very polite. We called Steve out to disconnect our cooker to have the floor replaced and then connect again afterwards. He was very professional and thorough and took great care not to damage anything when replacing the cooker. I would definitely recommend SB.

What a revelation to see a young man carry out such a professional job to veteran standards.
Thoroughly happy with the service from S&B Heating & Gas Services, suffice to say Steven will be my default go-to for any further work. Will gladly pass on his details to family, friends and would recommend wholeheartedly to anyone.
Where do you start?
Right from the quote, clear, concise and anything I had asked for or needed to know was in that initial reply. In contrast to other replies like "I can do it, here's my number". I replied at a weekend and had a reply back within the hour, a day and time was suggested. Arrived 2hrs early on the day of install after having made contact asking if arriving early was okay.
On arrival Steven pointed out the feed pipe already had a valve on it but had quoted for having to fit one, right away he said he'd knock £5 off the quote, he didn't need to do that, I was none the wiser, there's honesty for you right there.
The work was carried out professionally and to a high standard. I'm a fussy bugger with attention to detail, likewise this was a mantra of Steven at S&B, cleaned up after, put the cooker insitu and even took the time and bother to adjust the cooker legs to level it .....Kudos.
On completion he left the house but whilst sitting outside in the van the receipt and the warranty for the work carried out dropped into my email inbox.
So if your looking for an honest, reliable professional tradesman to address any heating/gas jobs, I can recommend Steven @ S&B

Steven came today to service my gas fire. He was punctual, kept me informed as to what he was doing and why and was clean and tidy. I feel you can't be too careful with gas and knowing he was fully registered and all checks in place was very reassuring. He wasn't over the top with price either. Used Steven to check some gas fittings prior to a cooker connection. Was so impressed that I had him back last year to service my boiler and he has just completed a second boiler service and I couldn’t be more pleased.

He arrived at the agreed time, undertook the work extremely efficiently, explained what he had done and bled and checked every radiator. The price quoted for the work was very competitive. We received detailed Certificates the same day.

Annual gas boiler safety check. Good communications, engineer explained what the check involved and explained the results once the check was complete. Finally made sure any mess was cleaned before leaving and wore a face covering throughout the visit. Highly recommend.

Needed someone to look at a gas fire as it wasn't lighting despite seeing a pilot light, called Steven who was able to quickly visit and diagnose the issue. Very professional, timely and very reasonable pricing for the work carried out. I've since recommended him to others who have since used his services and all agreed he is great!
